I heard the programmer who worked on Verizon's newer gateways now works for Crowdstrike. What a coincidence!

Behfor, with your plan you are eligible to get a "CE1000A" which will use the 6ghz to create a dedicated backhaul sort of like a mesh system and then SON will switch you from the main router to extender and on different bands intelligently all on it's own, Qualcomm has a dedicated page on the router so it uses their chipset.

Currently in my 30 day free trial with this service and equipment. Getting speeds of 400+mbps both download and upload, at service address. Took it out to my in-laws' farm and could only get 80mbps down 5mbps up - but at least it worked. Looking to use it as a backup provider, due to frequent power outages in my area.

The gateway did feel unstable compared to the old cube but once I used the passthrough with an old Asus router I had then the internet was more tolerable. Also, changing the MTU to 1400 solved the lag I constantly had when gaming on my PC.

Well this sucks to hear. I was hoping this would be an improvement over the old 5G rig. I'm looking for stable internet and was considering this. I'll keep researching, I guess. Thank you for your content- truly enjoy your videos and insights you provide.

I have to put my gateway on my patio and I get top speeds download and upload. It seems when it is inside my apartment the connections are bad.

Hi, Thank you for sharing your experiences. I have benefited from you, especially the experiences with Asus devices. I have a request, please. I want you to make a video on the best settings for your Asus router to stabilize connectivity and fast response for gaming, especially if your main connection is 5G. Thank you.
Note: my Asus router is ax3000 tuf gaming
