Looking to save money on home internet? Me too! This is Part THREE of my experience with the Verizon 5G Internet Gateway that costs $25 a month.

I am not sponsored by Xfinity or Verizon in anyway. Just a raw honest opinion.

As you can see I dropped Xfinity!!! Saves my family and I over $200 a month!

This video we had a glitch that I go over. It turned out it wasn't a big deal.

The Ring Security system I use: (Costco is currently sold out)

Ring Alarm 8-piece kit (2nd Gen) – home security system with optional 24/7 professional monitoring – Works with Alexa (More economical)

I’m showing my process of how I hooked it up, utilizing the current Internet system that my house was built with. I had some pretty interesting findings. And testing is continuing.

Please subscribe and comment on this video so it will help me make the next parts and give my take on any questions you may have.

Good tip on the outage. Glad to hear they resolved.

Mine has been rock-solid since the get, although I've only had mine a few days! I'm getting 350 down, 20 up, and 30ms ping. Streaming is great on all smart TVs. But the coup de grace is my gaming. The Verizon cube supports my PS4 with multiplayer 1st person shooter game FLAWLESSLY. No ether cable. Wireless connection to the PS4. I'm sold!

Also, thanks for covering your bill. NICE to hear no hidden surcharges.

The same thing happened to me in the Tampa area. It didn't cut out like yours did but it slowed to dial up speeds around 11pm-12am. Sometimes a little longer. Mine is fixed now as well. I'll tell you what made a huge difference in my internet quality. Is purchasing an IQrouter v3 to use with the Verizon gateway. There are a lot of devices connected at my house as well as heavy downloading of games from the kids. It can make the internet slow when all the bandwidth is getting used for downloading games. This router makes sure all the devices get an equal share of the bandwidth. No one device can hog all the bandwidth now. It will slow max download and upload speed to prevent bufferbloat unless the network is quiet. But the overall quality of everyday usage is greatly improved. No more slowdowns with heavy usage. It will constantly monitor your line speed and adjust accordingly. The wifi is kinda weak if you have a large house. I just disabled the wifi and used my old router as an access point for better signal. Just something to think about if you have the same problems I did.

It's because it needs to be near a window! Trust me... I have zero problems, had my since June of last year.

Hopefully the prices will stay stable for awhile, as charter cable etc. is so damn expensive.

Your latency of 30ms is very good but what’s more impressive is your loaded ping which is under 50ms. That gives you an idea how fast the network connects to the server. You should have no buffering issues as long as those numbers don’t rise

One week into a 2 month free test and I'm getting consistent speeds similar to yours. It looks like it's going to be a winner.

A lot more spectrum will be clearing by the end of the year. It should hold up quite well as more users jump on the network

Did you have to install any extenders? If so, are they witless extenders and how did you do it? I live in a ranch style house that is long and i currently need extenders that are not that reliable.

No matter where I put the gateway I couldn't get more than 100mbps for download...and 5mbps for uploads where I live~

Hi question how did you hook up the router? I keep seeing in the comments, that people made the verizon box just a modem by turning some settings off and then just use a router? Did you do that or just plug it in and have 2 networks? Could you do a video with more of the router set up info?

It says no data caps. Do they throttle you back at busy times?
