30-min Yoga For Emotional Release & Hip Tension : All Levels

Relieve emotional tension that you may be holding onto in your body with this gentle, slow 30-minute vinyasa & yin yoga class. We will be focus on hip and shoulder stretches are as these are common areas for stress, sadness and many other emotions to be stored and held, causing pain, tension and even headaches.

It's a slow class suitable for all levels as I will offer a couple of pose variation that you can try in order to make this yoga sequence your own, and to hopefully suit your body and your practice.

Some of Yoga poses we will be holding on to for up to 10 deep breaths are:
Pigeon pose
Side Lunge (Skandasana)
Seated Forward fold (Pashchimottanasana)
Puppy Pose (Uttana Shishosana)
Butterfly Pose (Baddha Konasana)

Thank you so much lovely Candi. I love your yoga and so grateful for you putting it out there. I remember so clearly that feeling of when my son first started school so sending a million hugs too❤. I noticed that you had the most beautiful orb over your head at the beginning of the class! How special and perhaps someone is there to support you on this heart rending but beautiful day. This was a wonderful flow, thank you. Really enjoyed the longer holds of poses. The mermaid bind and deep hip openers felt amazing on my body.
The emotional pressure on my chest is still present, but I can definitely sense more calmness and freedom in my mind. Thank you 🙏🏼❤ Sending love and light back to you 💫

Yes, I've been finally able to find time to do this class ! How beautiful it feels when a burden has been taken out off your shoulders, and a bitter ball of hate (yes🤐) taken away from your heart ! This flow was such a tremendous relief ! Had to modify a bit to let my injured foot (stress fracture) heal, but i could follow most of your cues😉 I love when you let us breathe / meditate without speaking, the introspection is even deeper ! And we can feel YOU are enjoying the practice too, just by hearing how deeply you breathe. Thank you Candi, amazing class 🙏🙏 (I do apologize if I -still- make mistakes when writing, french gal here🙄)

Hi Candi, no time to do it today, but I'll do it very soon. I had an emotional release at high school this morning (I'm a maths teacher) : my director told me that some colleagues of mine have accepted to move some of their hours, so that my schedule could be better. I cried from (of ?) joy at 7:30 a.m. My students then didn't understand why I had vertical black strings (make up + tears...) on my cheeks, but I just didn't care. So happy and releaved ! ! ! 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you for this relaxing flow. Just what I needed after hours in the museum, visiting a Sesame Street exhibition. Unfortunately some neighbors had a party - the beat of the music was not really the right one. 😘🙏🏻🧘🏼‍♀️
