Why Adventists Misunderstand the Trinity (1898 Exposed)

Using their own publications from 1898, we look at how SDA Pioneers like J.N. Loughborough perpetuated heresies about the Holy Spirit and the doctrine of the Trinity. If the Holy Spirit is merely a presence and not a distinct person, why does Scripture attribute personal acts like speaking and praying to Him?

The Gospel of Jesus Christ:
Man is a sinner (Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:8) and our sin has separated us from our Maker (Isaiah 59:2). By a living faith (James 2:18) in the Person and Work of Jesus (Romans 10:9-10), God graciously declares a person righteous (Romans 4:5), they are reconciled to their Creator (Romans 5:10-11), given Christ’s righteousness in full (Phil. 3:8-9), sealed with the Holy Spirit (Eph. 1:13), and have peace with God (Romans 5:1). They are born again of the Spirit (1 John 5:1, Titus 3:5), adopted into His family (Eph. 4:5–7), and are granted eternal resurrection life in Jesus Christ (1 John 5:11), set free to do good works that please Him (Eph. 2:10; 1 John 2:3-4). Jesus will physically return one day to judge the living and the dead (1 Peter 4:5; Acts 24:15; John 5:24-5), throwing the wicked out of His Kingdom (Matt. 13:41-3), but His people will be spared from the wrath to come (1 Thess. 1:10) to dwell in union with God forever (Rev. 21:3).

No one man or group speaks for the church especially from the 1800's...Our position today is listed on line under the 28 fundamental beliefs of the SDA church and we hold 3 person's in the Trinity...So why look back and make judgements regarding a church that was in the process of forming its theology. And note that this church was formed by people from many denominations and it took time to work through false or confused theologies....Look at us today not yesterday ...Myles has got to find something wrong to produce a podcast....which is immature in content.... Study Luther, Calvin, etc., they all had some confusion or error in their beliefs but we judge those churches today by what they preach today - not yesterday

Jesus's mother was a virgin. His "father" was the Holy Spirit. Those scriptures make that clear.

When we are born again, born of the spirit, we become both brothers and sons of Jesus.

Discussing or debating the details of the systematised Trinity doctrine is vain EXCEPT in the case of a Godhead doctrine that demeans the Lord Iyesus Kristos as a created being or not divine.
No one will be saved by knowing the intricacies of the Holy Spirit compared to God's Presence or Person.
The nature of the Godhead is very nuanced and complex and understanding it fully is not the requirement for salvation.
It cannot be adequately described by human language.

Why not just focus on the SDA semi-Arian demoting of Christ which is a critical matter in salvation.

God the Father is a Person! Has a name= Jehova! Jesus Christ is a Person, has a name= Jesus Christ! The holy Spirit, is the Spirit of the Father and from the Son.Is not a Person, so, the holy Spirit has no name! And so he can be in the whole World at the same time. A Person cannot!!! I really don't know how an Adventist can live with themselves after repeating so many slanderous lies. Thus saith the Lord, Zeph. 3:13 *"The remnant of Israel shall NOT do iniquity, NOR speak lies; NEITHER shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth:…"*
If the Adventist Church obeyed this verse, the entire SDA would cease to exist overnight. There is no chance the SDA will ever be a true *"Remnant of Israel"* Because, they cannot cease from evil, slander and lies.
