No matter how you look at it..Adventist is not a denomination...it is a movement. Advent means coming of Jesus, 7th day is the true biblical sabbath...that God ordained and sanctified. I don't care how people obtained the message the fact of the matter is truth is out there. Its not complicated only when you don't want to adhere makes it complicated.

Yes, this is so true! I remember being a teen and attending an SDA Doug Batchelor Revelation seminar. My mom explained to me that the SDA evangelism method was to draw new comers in, hook them with end times message, and then introduce Adventism as a “solution”. SDAs are a lot more candid with the insiders or when they’re indoctrinating their youth. As an outsider or a former, they would never admit this.

When I was a kid in the ‘70’s, my grandma’s church rented a hotel conference room for evangelistic meetings. They met at the hotel for weeks with no mention of SDA. Then they moved to the church sanctuary after they felt the audience was drawn in. Takes a lot of nerve in my opinion.

Yeah it's true. If you catch Steven Bohr Bible Study on 3ABN, The Great Controversy that Steven Bohr uses, the pages don't match w/ the Great Controversy pages; that an SDA, friend gave to me. My SDA friend told me that often times that EGW Books (titles & covers) are often changed by their Book & Bible Publishing Company.

He's right! When we would do Revelation Seminars we would not tell the visitors that we were Adventist. We would also cover up the name on our church van so no one would know we were Adventist. We wouldn't reveal that we were Adventist until the last day of the seminar until we preached "The Mark of the Beast" and read those Catholic quotes.

Our conference President was doing a 28 night evangelism seminar in our city and during planning someone asked what they should say if someone asked what church was hosting the event. His response was, "Tell them you're glad they asked and let them know the Seventh-day Adventist Church is the one hosting." I remember several people being astonished and gasping, because there had always been a pat answer about, "We're a Bible believing church, blah, blah, blah, " but never the actual name. I respected him a lot for suggesting everyone be honest.
