I stopped relying on food alone for my Vitamin D too. I realized it’s hard to get enough just from diet, especially during the winter months. I came across some great supplement recommendations in Secret Supplements that turn you into a Superhuman, and adding Vitamin D3 has been a game-changer for keeping my energy up and supporting my immune health.

I eat tons of eggs fish and beef and go outside often. I was Vit D deficient last blood test.
Taking 4000 IU every day now and feeling much better.

Oh my...Thomas has become the best salesperson on YouTube. I started to question the content's veracity and reliability because the videos all cite studies that back up the sales of the product being advertised. Yeah...that's easy to spot.

$800 for a lamp. I watch a ton of Thomas videos but the products are never affordable. Like seed probiotic. $50 for a 1 month supply.

I live in Arizona, I eat all the healthy foods and in the sun quite a bit either hiking or working in the yard, use no sunscreen. Still I was vitamin D deficient.

Thomas ALWAYS has something to sell.
He thrives on Vitamin 'C'-ommerce

Regarding sunlight and Vit. D, more and more I tend to lean into the work of Dr. Jack Kruse (neurosurgeon). He talks about and demonstrates not just the importance of sunlight/ sun exposure on bare skin and eyes, but also being at "relatively" high altitudes (but below the snow line 😅), and being near zero latitude for optimal results. Or, the option is cold environment exposure in lieu of direct low latitude sunlight. Basically a sunny cold day in upper Canada, Iceland, Greenland.

If he had a vitamin d supplement advertiser, we'd be hearing him tell us how dangerous these lamps are.

This is the biggest infomerical channel on YT. Flip flop and make a wallop. Definitely a motto for this brand. I could make you a jingle for selling more wares. Not that you need it lol

I have a vitamin D defficiency, apparently. So does my Father. I live in the greyest part of the PNW, and i eat tons of eggs, oysters, and Vitamin D rich foods.

Thank you for the information, as this has been creating other health problems for me!

I looked at this lamp on Amazon and it is $1667, $1200 from here.

Good stuff but you REALLY need to look up Dr. Jack Kruse and all his pod appearances to really get the bigger picture regarding VitD, importance of Sun exposure, and the Leptin Melanocortin pathway.

Thomas, Dr. Jason Fung says that all the longevity scientists who advocate high protein intake and warn about fasting causing muscle loss are wrong, because they rely on research that uses a method of muscle mass measurement which cannot distinguish between tissue loss and water loss. What say you?
