In this video, Dr. Berg discussed how much sun we need to get our vitamin D.

It really depends on how much the body is exposed to the sun, where you live, and your age. Vitamin D is very important especially as you get older or if you are really young, and if you are sick to prevent autoimmune problems and to boost your overall immune system.

Sun makes me drink more water, I love that. Balanced exposure to the Sun tightens my skin and tans me. A little ruddy hue is beautiful to me. Amish people have the best skin without makeup. Also helps with sweating and releasing toxins from your pores. I no longer look pale with sunken eyes, and goodbye depression! Excersizing in the sun is even better for you. The sun is a miraculous beauty product when you use it the right way. Praise Jah for the sun! Hallelujah!

The body can store vitamin D in the liver for example. Build up your supply safely during the summer months. Depletion occurs in winter with collapse of immune system which is why flu and cold attack with success in that time period.
Low VD = impaired immune system!

Great information here, I think lack of sunlight, outdoor activity, adequate hydration, and lack of vitamins(b complex, zinc due to fast paced/stress lifestyles) are one of the largest causes of health problems in America mentally and physically. My biggest advice to anyone with low energy/anxiety. Drink a gallon of water a day, spend your weekends OUTSIDE in direct sun, and take a good multivitamin and b complex and see how you start feeling.

The body isn’t meant to stay inside all day

I have Osteogenesis Imperfecta. Since birth I've had over 250 broken bones and fractures and I'm now 38. I can't live without sun exposure. Without it, my bones hurt. All the old injuries. I get at least 2 to 3 hours of shirtless sun per day here in central Arizona. Been doing it for years and can really tell a difference if I miss my sun.

A glass window depletes the type of ultra violet healthy rays that benefit your health.
It is absolutely critical to obtain direct sunshine

Hi there, I just moved back to where I was born, to Puerto Rico after 39 years living in the United States. Before moving to Puerto Rico, a month ago today 05/16/2023, from Seattle, Washington (living there for 13 years) i have noticed a big improve in my health, my allergies, my sleep partners, my mood, my anxiety is much lower in PR, as opposed to in Seattle. Thank you for sharing this important information.

Thank you for this video Dr. Berg and so true. Just this past Winter I got more sick than usual and fatigued, and never enough sleep. Just last month I had a checkup thinking it was my thyroid or heart-related, turned out I was very low in Vitamin D. My doctor prescribed me 50, 000mg of Vitamin D once a week and after the second week I felt SO much better. Now I get as much Sun as I can whenever possible.🌞😁

this is probably one of the reasons old people flock to Florida and Arizona in the Winter's or for their retirement.... I started heading to South America and Florida in the winters in my late twenties and thirties and at about 40 years old I finally headed to Guatemala... All that sun feels good and is very healing... Thanks for your video

This is one of the biggest reasons that I chose to retire in Tucson. We are currently having a normal monsoon this summer. No drought here. I am loving it.
