This video explains the four types of "nice guys" or people pleasers based on locus of control and introversion/extroversion

The Performer (extrovert with external locus), the Controller (extrovert with internal locus), the Wallflower (introvert with external locus), and the Critic (introvert with internal locus).

Each type exhibits specific behaviors and issues, such as the Performer's constant need for validation and the Wallflower's chronic anxiety. Knowing which type you are will help focus your recovery efforts.
