Finally hearing more about this publicly! It is frustrating to see the plant foods advertised that they are high in vitamin A.

Interesting story, I hated liver as a child and was forced to eat it because I was anemic. I swore I’d never eat it as an adult. I became pregnant at the age of 20. What did I crave? Liver! I ate beef liver, sautéed chicken livers … I ate it several times a month throughout my pregnancy. I gave birth to a healthy baby boy who’s now 37, and a smart and healthy man. 😊

Fantastic video...THUMBS UP!!!! I had my gall bladder removed forty nine years ago, and I have had issues that were missed by doctors. I have researched, and discovered the gut, brain connection, and the vagus nerve as well. These played a big part in the mystery, and my road to freedom seems to be vitamin A, and, bile salts, and/ or, a digestive enzyme routine. I am getting to the end of my confusion, and frustration. I need to make sure that my HBP meds won't be adversely affected, and then I can move toward the solutions to these issues. Thank you for the clarification regarding vitamin A. I too, was sure it was not fat soluble. How do these confusing statements get published? I am positive I read that somewhere, so I disregarded vitamin A completely. You are such a relief to so many!

This is my kind of diet. I guess my farm raising and being a lifelong hunter and fisherman paid off. I love all liver, venison liver (fresh), pork liver, turkey liver, chicken livers, calf liver and also liver pudding (livermush) and liverwurst. Also love trout and salmon.

I swear there are no coincidences in life. I found this vid this morning and I have had some of these symptoms and went to the dermatologist and he have me a great creme for my itchy exema but I also have dry itchy eyes. Coincidentally, I have recently subscribed to a wild seafood company in Alaska and we have salmon and cod about 3 times a week. My dry scalp and itchy skin have gotten better and I haven’t connected the two things together. I also use good Irish butter so I’m on the right tract, I just need more of it. Now to find good liver . . . I also eat sardines but not on a regular basis. Deviled eggs are regularly on our menu. Thank you, thank you, this was so informative.

I eat all the sources you gave. I especially love chicken liver and liverwurst. I usually have 2 eggs, over easy, fried in Kerrygold butter. We’ll have sardines or canned salmon a few times a week.
Thanks for all you do and sharing so much good information to keep us healthy!

Hunting and fishing family here....we eat the whole animal.
Was taught at a very young age not to waste any part of it. My grandfather said that animal gave its life so you can live, respect the animals. My grandmother also tanned the hides from big game. Sadly that part of our tradition was never passed down.

Except for the fish, I love all the sources of vitamin A. I've always eaten lots of beef liver, lamb's liver, butter, and eggs. My mother used to make us liver sausage sandwiches when I was a kid. Now I just slather it on celery or just eat it right out of the container. I still haven't QUITE switched over to carnivore, but I'm working on it. Love your channel. I've shared your words with my husband who has only recently started a keto way of life, and it's because of both you and Dr Berg

I generally eat 3-4 eggs a day, braunschweiger a couple times a week, and sardines once or twice a week, so I’m pretty covered on a lot of vitamins.

Thank you so much, Dr. Barry. This explains why all the carrots and kale I have been eating does not seem to be doing much for my vitamin A deficiency. I actually like calfs liver so I will be eating that more to help with this is efficiency. Thank you so much for all you do to help us stay healthy.

Dr. Berry, we LOVE you. The keto foods you recommend are basically ALL the ones we ate growing up in the 50s & 60s. I actually love all the Vit A foods you mentioned. I do have a Vit A supplement 10, 000 IU labeled "vision support" Vit A as palmitate. Is this synthetic? Will it help me or hurt me?
