In this video, we’re going to talk about the best vitamin B1 foods.

In many other videos, I’ve talked about the importance of vitamin B1. If you become deficient in B1, here are some of the symptoms you can experience:
• Anxiety
• Restlessness
• Panic attack
• Lack of stamina
• Excessive sweating

The best source of vitamin B1 is nutritional yeast. Nutritional yeast is the best natural source of B vitamins. Avoid taking synthetic vitamin B supplements.

The following are other sources of vitamin B1.

1. Pork 6oz - 1.1mg (96% of RDA)
2. Salmon 6oz - .6mg (48% of RDA)
3. Flax 1oz - .5mg (39% of RDA)
4. Sunflower feeds 1oz - .4mg (35% of RDA)
5. Green peas 1 cup - .4mg (35% of RDA)
6. Macadamia nuts 1oz - .3mg (30% of RDA)
7. Acorn squash 1 cup - .3mg (30% of RDA)

An adult needs between 1.0-1.2mg of vitamin B1 daily.

On top of getting more vitamin B1 in your diet, you also need to avoid things that deplete B1. This includes:
• Refined sugar
• Refined carbs
• Chronic stress
• Diuretics
• High blood sugar/glucose

Dr. Berg has no idea how many lives he has changed for the better, he should be the Surgeon General. Any issue I have, he has an answer and the solution is spot on. Thank you

I would have loved to see him and Dr Sebi debate. They agree on a lot but they disagree on things and both bring valid points. Both of these guys have done so much for the world in regards to health

About two years ago, I made an excel sheet and checked what vitamins and minerals my diet was missing. It was really surprising to see what foods are really nutritious and what are basically "empty" calories.

Dr. Berg, I take a water pill as part of my treatment for HTN. I eat a lot of salmon, sunflower seeds, bacon, Italian sausages, and smoked ribblets. Four days out of 7 I'm consuming one of the items listed above every week. I'm going to pay close attention to my next blood test results for my B1 levels. After the blood work results I'm going to ask my for another sleep study to see if I can discontinue the CPAP equipment. I HATE sleeping in that mask. If B1 and nutritional yeast, is the answer OMG. I also think the intermittent fasting, and Keto diet is helping. I'll keep you updated.

I came across this video trying to find out why I’m having panic attacks and feeling tension in my throat out of know where. I’m 37 with 3 kids and I have a wonderful husband. I have nothing to stress about. But feeling these panic attacks feels like I’m going to die. It’s very scary for me. I’ve learned so much from your videos and I’m going to purchase the vitamin B1 supplement and see if that helps me. I will post an update after using it for a month. I already cut out caffeine and still making changes to my diet. I am willing to try anything and stick with it if helps me from anxiety/panic attacks. Just to have an overall healthy lifestyle. Thank you. I will post a update

Sunflower---and other seeds---are often sold &/or eaten "roasted." Is the vitamin B1 intact despite roasting?
