This really helped, suffered with a ruptured disk in my neck and was feeling nerve pain in my shoulder and upper arm, very uncomfortable and this gave almost instant relief

I began to have pain in my right shoulder and upper arm about 6 months ago. I visited an ortho surgeon that had performed surgery on my left shoulder a few years ago. He examined me and took x-rays. Determined nothing wrong with shoulder structure. Gave me a list of exercises to perform for strengthening. I performed the exercises for a couple of weeks and saw no improvement. I called him to get a referral to a nerve/back specialist. Saw him. He ordered extensive x-rays and an MRI. He determined I have arthritis in my cervical and thoracic areas. This is causing a few pinched nerves. He performed a nerve block/steroid injection. That gave relief for a couple of days. I saw his assistant and she said I could get another injection or try therapy. I chose therapy. After four or five therapy sessions and a dry needle procedure I'm still not over this. I have experienced some weeks a couple of days where I feel much better. But then some days I'm back to the same level of pain. My pain was not bad the last two days. But this morning it returned at it's worse. I just made a quick attempt at these exercises and I'm feeling better. I'll keep trying these to see if I can get better. I'm a 74 year old male in decent shape and fairly strong. This impairment is very depressing.

Hello sir… as of 2022 October x ray… I have a pinched nerve maybe c3-c6 area from neck arthritis, facet joint issues, and bone spurs (maybe more). It’s been 2 years. My question for you is….. is it possible that this can cause random stinging pains in one spot on my scalp near my temple? It’s literally like sharp random 2 second pains. Near daily but only in a quarter size spot above my right temple. I also get jaw pain on my right side. Meanwhile the pinched nerve causes pain on left side near shoulder blade and numbness down my left arm to my pinky when I position my neck in a certain way. I also get dizzy and heart racing. Could any of this be from the pinched nerve / osteoarthritis/ narrowing of the discs ?

Hello. I have a question. So I suffer from an old shoulder injury and it's gotten worse since I started working out again. I assumed it was an impingement but the pain would shoot down my forearm and sometimes I'll feel it in my triceps. Just following along this one time has given me relief though. Can you have both? As in a pinch nerve and impingement? Or are the symptoms of a pinched nerve similar to an impingement?

I had a herniated disk in my neck and pain down my right arm for a whole month. Hard to sleep even. It was horrible. I was so desperate, tried everything to prevent surgery. The thing that finally made the pain go away was fasting for two days. So I definitely recommend people try that as well. 💜💜💜

Thank you for these wonderful videos. I have been dealing with this pinched nerve for over a month and have seen the doctor, accupunturist, chiropractor and nothing has worked. Your exercises are the best. You are a Godsend!

AMAZING! I went to PT for 2 years, at 2 different clinics in 2 different states. It took the second clinic 7 months to discover that my shoulder injury damage to my brachial plexus and they only showed me the final exercise of this video exercise if this set. It's been 3.5 years from initial injury and I so can't sleep trig the night due to pain. I've tried multiple beds and even couches. I have taken so many steroids and NSAIDS that my bones have started to show damageand I have been ordered to stop them. I tried this video and I experienced everything he said from pain to numbness to tingling and after I completed my very first set, I already feel better.

Thank you for these great videos. I have been suffering from this pinched nerve for more than a month and have seen a doctor, acupuncturist, chiropractor, but nothing has worked. Your exercises are very helpful for me. But when I do the exercises during the day I feel relaxed. But at night while sleeping my pain starts again and it is very uncomfortable for me. This pain goes from my shoulder to my left arm I can't even move. Please help me.

Awesome video.. Thank you.... I get pins and needles occasionally on my right finger next to my index finger... I had it really bad last year but was told that my right shoulder blade was kicking out.. Think she called it "chicken wing"... So now I have to consciously pull my shoulders back and down and neck back... It helps but I still get pins and needles on that same finger every now and then... But thank you for this video.... These excersizers are what I will do

The pinched nerve I have is localized to the base of the scalenes on right side. And i can’t seem to figure out how to synchronize these. Maybe you could say flex right hand back, bend head left. Release hand look toward right.

I've been experiencing stiffness in both of my hands mostly the fingers and a tingling, stabbing, itching sensation on my fingers and feet. It all started with my fingers- one morning I woke up and they were stiff, it hurt to stretch them out. then I began feeling the itching and stabbing sensation in my fingers and feet. Now, I'm feeling it almost everywhere and it comes and goes. What could this be?

I just did some of these movements hope they help.

I do have cervical kyphosis for over a decade and usually it doesn't cause too many issues if I stay active. Been feeling some weakness in my right arm and ring finger, flossing 'funny bone nerve' made my ring finger feel numb and tingly after a couple reps. Helped me to pin point the problematic location.

Hey Doc, is it normal to feel clicks throughout our neck and upper back as we're doing this flossing? What is that exactly? And just FYI, I do have cervical osteoarthritis that is causing me muscle tension and headaches.
