The Workout:

45 sec - jump rope boxer skip - ¾ lb rope
45 sec - jump rope regular bounce 1½ lb rope
45 sec - jump rope freestyle 3 lb rope
45 sec - jump rope run in place ¾ lb rope
45 sec - jump rope boxer skip 1½ lb rope

**rest 15 sec between exercises
*advanced repeat circuit 5 times total

i have to say thanks to this channel for motivating me to go and make myself a better person. Quarantine made me eat alot and gained 20 pounds, my body looked bad and i was so out of shape. Until i saw this channel, i started 2-3 months ago and did jump ropes, i also did some extra workouts and i lost weight and im starting to love my body again :)

JRD this a beast of a workout. I would said advance. I have jump with 2lbs rope from cross rope for 1min on and 30 secs off. A jumpers shoulders and forearms need to be conditioned well. And ppl expect blisters in the web of your hand between the thumb and forefinger. Good stuff regardless.

Dudes your videos are so inspiring I've been following for years now but had to say this .. I'm so addicted to jumping rope to the point that I lost my job since before covid and I can't afford to buy a new rope (which I broke a looong time ago :p ) so I'm using the old handles with an electrical cable .. it's not perfect but I can DO THE THING .. and I wish for more people to join the family

I can only do the regular bounce atm, struggling to get to grips with boxers step its frustrating me. But you guys are super keeping me motivated so imma do my best to keep working and learning the different move sets so I can nail this workout.

Ok so jrd, i recently learned the shuffle jump and i think i've got shin splints. What do you think i should do? If i should take a break, of how many days, or should i just lower the intensity of my workouts?

Hey! Im totally sold on the idea on how great weighted jump roping is. I'm getting my cross rope next week! But I need to learn how to jump rope
