After leaving. It was stated that I "took her marriage away". As if she had no part in it. Completely exonerating herself from any responsibility at all.

I left the narcissist and she said I ran away even though she was the one who cheated. She then tried to get back together while pregnant with another man's seed and asked me if she should get an abortion so she could be with me...her reasoning for getting the abortion was that she believed I deserved the best! Wow...of course I said no. The nerve...

Like arguing. They turn it around to play the victim. They have two roles they like to play-- victim or hero both situations they can fabricate to get their attention as victim or rescuer.

I left him & he wanted to be in control so he was the one that filed - that was what he wanted, me to be at fault! He was then control!

That is exactly the kind of crap he pulled.
I refer to it as the icing on their delusional, outlandish smear campaigns
When his squatter self finally moved out, he took our dog ( one last dig in my hoped-for coffin). 11 weeks later, via his neglect ( narcs are famous for being unaccountable), the dog went through the huge gap in the fence I asked him to fix since he was now living on a busy street corner.
Fastforward, he called me, and it went to voice mail. He said, "Someone had stolen the dog." Before the call ended, he made a remark that " oh she won't call me back as she hates me" ( him playing victim role to some poor sap in the background).
I was luck enough to get a call from a good samaritan that found her scared on the highway from her dog tags that he has since removed. The ex narc came over and took her back to my dismay. I haven't hear from him since, going on 3 years now.
I don't miss him one bit but he knows I miss the dog...
