How To Do Toes To Bar (WODprep Tutorial)

This video explains a simple progression to help athletes develop their kipping toes to bar. This is a great exercise to work your abs, lats, shoulders, and grip!
Here is the 4-step progression to mastering toes to bar as shown in the video:
Step 1: Kip Levers - remember to stay tight and control that kip swing!
Learn how to activate your lats here, this is super important for toes to bar.
Step 2: Begin to add in a lift of the knees on each rep
Aim to re-establish the kip after each on by pulling back through.
Step 3: Get your knees as high as possible
Use a more aggressive kip and bring your knees right into your chest if you can, while still maintaining that solid kip.
Step 4: Add a ‘flick’ of your feet to touch the bar. The tricky part here is often how to get back into the next rep once your feet have touched so make sure to watch the video to find out how.
