I made mistakes in my review:

1. There are multiple aspirations for being either a good or bad vampire.

2. You can change outfits for normal form and vampire form by unlinking them.

Sims 3 vampire babies used to bite their teddy bears on the neck... but the Sims 4 could never.

You need to unlink the dark form and normal form to change the outfit

The game having no consequences really zaps the fun out of this pack. You can be as evil and murderous as you want and all you will get is a periodic text admonishing you lmao.

Packs like these are why I wish they would do more freakin refreshes already. It's so good and just needs a bit more tweaking to add elements from other packs. Amp the world up to make it more interesting, some more unique interactions and stuff for all the ages would make such a huge difference!

vampires was the first pack i ever bought for the sims 4 and it’s honestly my favorite, might just be cause i was VERY team edward though 😇

I don't know if someone let you know, but in an update you can use the front door to keep vampires away plus you can become immune to garlic with one of the power points 😂 there's so much about the occults

The only thing i find annoying is random ppl being in the vampire world as if it's totally normal. Also they could have added things for toddlers. I think ea should update some older packs just like this one. Still one of my favourite packs if not my favourite.

I love how you can also remove the teeth and make vampires gag up food, like a ghoul from Tokyo Ghoul. Had alot of fun with the vampires on Sims 4. Definitely the strongest iteration.

Another cross pack compatibility is with Cats&Dogs. If a vampire becomes a veterenarian when he uses the surgical machine he can extract a plasma pack from the animal. It is kinda dark, but it can be done.🦇

I personnally think its the best occult pack, maybe tied with werewolves. I which the world had more though

You could turn on "Vampiric Run" permanently. I think it was one of the settings by clicking your sim. Running is ironically faster than teleporting.

You missed 2 of the vampire aspirations - Family Vampire (under the family group) and Good Vampire (under the popularity group) which helps make it more in depth and you can make your vampire follow different paths

I figured unlike with werewolves the vampire form is like a creature switch. Sort of how buffy vampires or True blood vampires work. Which makes the clothing switch make no sense in most cases. And it being mostly YA makes sense because that's where vampires are all aged.

I love the build/buy. So much. Besides the "Why is the coffin so *big* in area" issue. One thing I must point out that I really appreciate. Vampires have some of the most expensive, and I think some of the most environmentally boosting, items in the game. I think that is just on point with them.

On Gameplay. I do wish there was an on off switch for the vampires coming but honestly the fact there's only three and all three of them are really charming sims I appreciate. I mean two are because they're train wrecks, - coughs- LilithAndVlad -coughs - but I adore Caleb.

This is one of my favorite packs so I just wanted to make sure to give a huge comment point by point. lol. Also I get it. I love the pack but I feel constrained by just having not only the same three but also the world sucks.

This world is garbage, and I had so many ideas for what it SHOULD have been.
More lots. One a gothy and spooky Nightclub where alt Sims and the Occult could mingle. One for a Starter home. The others could be the families that make the Vampire community. Vladdy Daddy would be the highest level Vampire, and obviously Evil. The Sister/Brother combo could have been his rivals, and Good. They could have had an Addams Family family, with close but not exact names from the show. They could have had a "totally not Vampires" Vampire family who tried to blend in with the Humans. They could have had a family with a rebel teen who wanted to go against the Vampire lifestyle and be Cured. And lastly, they could have had a VAMPIRE HUNTER NPC. Someone to be seen tracking down the Vampires throughout the world, causing a ruckus with the other families, and then actually targeting you. You'd have to protect yourself by blending in or having some way of making protection charms/potions against the Vampire Hunter. The "killing" of a Vampire could literally just be the Hunter finally winning in a fight and Curing you.

But instead we get.... This. This world is so disappointing.

I was about to say you can unlink most of the occult forms to change their clothes and appearance from their regular sim form lol And there are more aspirations, a total of three actually

Again, lacks replay value, you can complete the vampire skill tree in less than a day and that's it, no consequences. This needs a refresh and more lore added to it tbh.

You missed the most important reason to buy the pack. The one and only, gorgeous heart throb next door neighbour- CALEB
