"I'm not interested" is the most common sales objection, especially on a cold call.

This is the ultimate brushoff. Most of the time the prospect doesn't even know what they are saying "not interested" to. They could be saying "not interested" to something that can help their business's bottom line.

Objections are easy to properly handle when you have a process and practice handling them consistently, so when you do get them on the phone (and you will!), they are easy to handle and move the conversation forward.

In this video my good friend Ruhan Bora and I provide 4 word tracks that have worked for us to handle "I'm not interested" and move the conversation forward on a cold call.

There are so many word tracks that work to handle this objection. These 4, and variations of these 4, are what I use most of the time. Delivery is actually more important than the actual language.

Everyone saying they reply with saying their not interested again... It's a COLD CALL. Even with handling the objections, most people are going to say no. At least now you have some extra ammo to try and get them interested. At the end of the day, the way to be successful in cold calling is make the damn calls. This is great stuff Matt!

Guys definitely have numbers to back up what they're saying, but for those who are getting into cold calling... bear in mind that the dynamic involved into talking to people is way more complex than just remembering scripted ways to respond to objections. As that being said, good tips, but practice some role playing first before you jump on those calls, cuz if you just do the scripting, you ain't gonna build rapport with your prospect, even bigger shoot in the foot would be to focus on reading the scripting right, rather than listening to what people have to say which is a big no no as you can probably imagine. Matt, just an idea - create a space, for example using discord, where people can practice those calls in a safe environment before burning off their contact list.

I like where you're going with the videos. I would add some graphics, maybe some visme's with process tree's. I would also drop this raw video into camtasia or an adobe product and create some motion with panning effects, bring in some low height banners with key takeaways highlighted and follow up with a graphic and some data.

"I knew you wouldn't be interested before I called otherwise you would have already cold-called me right? in my position here at XYZ it's all about timing, If "you give me a few seconds I can explain why I chose to call you instead of someone else and if you're still not interested it means I have failed and you can yell FUCK OFF! and hang up on me, ... Aweome, because most people just let you talk freely. No, they dont. They say "Im not interested" and then no matter what you say, they will interrupt you. Its not that easy.

The difficult thing with this is that I use these technique s and even with leaving it open ended they will just reply not interested 😃👍🏼 again

No one is ever interested when I call because they aren't expecting to be evaluating a tool/service like this on the spur of the moment. Do you have just a couple minutes now to hear how we (give our business partners/clients a dominating competitive advantage that can't be copied or duplicated? Or can we set up a time for later.
