• every action, every decision has led you to be the person you are now, your identity, your mindset, the full package.
• to regret is to doubt oneself, to lose self confidence.
• mistakes arent anchors, but lessons. triumphs arent endpoints, but milestones.

Do you have any book recommendations surrounding Musashi and his philosphy on general?

How do you not regret things when your entire life's choices have led to your whole life being shit? Like if there is nothing in the present worth even living for, then how do I live without regret for the things I did/that happened to me in the past? From what I understand Musashi lived a pretty cool life from start to finish, so it seems it would be easier for him to say never to hold regret. But how do the failures in life follow this advice? And I don't mean this in a negative way or some sort of way to be a dick or make jokes, I'm genuinely asking that question. When my life is so fucked up from all of the events of my past that brought me to a point where it feels I have no other options and feels like it's too late to fix life, like I'm trapped, how do I stop feeling regret? I feel like regret has to be there for a reason in some capacity even if you were to have a good life prior and up to this very point, because regrets teach you to not make the same mistake that embarrasses you, because that same mistake could have a bad outcome the second time around. But if I lived the first 25 years of my life failing at everything, embarrasing myself, quitting, and missing out on ALL of the normal things people my age go through growing up, then how do I not regret that?
