I’ve always thought that future burials will be out in space.
Instead of embalming them, you ship them out in space in a rocket, that way space preserves their body. Their can even be cameras on board recording outside so loved ones can see the view of their dead ancestors, and GPS so they know their location.
Family could even still view their loved one’s body for millions of years as no decay would happen.
