Although you guys lack filioque-ness that I believe in, I would definitely grant that the Orthodox have a stronger understanding of the Trinity than most in the West.

Trinity is a made up word. No one can perfectly explain God. Jesus is His son.

There is not a single unequivocal statement in the bible where Jesus himself says I am God or hence worship me.

Unfortunately the trinity is just a CONVENTIONAL doctrine issued by the conventions of Nicaea and Constantinople. "Conventional" means they didn't care much about the truth, because the doctrine was meant to be later ENFORCED by any means.
Actually, Jesus does not even KNOW what a "triune God" is supposed to be, never heard of!
There is not doubt that Jesus tells us several times that HE IS ONLY WITH THE FATHER, sometimes implicitly "I am in the Father and the Father in me", sometimes even EXPLICITLY "I am not ALONE because the Father is with me". He also tells us that THE FATHER IS A SPIRIT ("God is a spirit" Jn.4:23, 24). Therefore just: 1. Jesus and 2. the Father who is a spirit, no one else is there. Thus, the Comforter is not there and cannot form a triune God with Jesus.

1 John 5:7 is one...yes, 3 but really, it is One! Father is in Heaven, Messiah prayed to him and worships him. Holy Spirit is God Gen 1:2 and John 15:26 kjv...not Messiah, Messiah asked and God sent him, which is really himself. Now, who is the word? John 14:24, 14:10 and John 12:49:50 kjv. So, you say Messiah is one with God, I agree! Yes...and if you have the spirit, you are one with that doesn't make him God does it? No!

Godhead? What is that....every body (body - Christians, those of Faith) has a head, Messiah is that Head, he leads us in worshipping our Father, he is the Cornerstone!
Still not satisfied? How about answering a few questions.

1) Can God be tempted by Satan? No! Yet, Messiah was was, three times!

2) Can God die....Messiah died as the Lamb of God....He is the Lamb of God, right? Not God!

3) Who raised the very dead Messiah? God! Romans 9:10 kjv Messiah was the offering for the New Covenant, not God but the Lamb of God!

4) Mark 14:36 kjv "not my will but thy will be done" So, who's will be done, if not Messiah's then it must be God. Does God pray to himself? No...he is God!

5) Who is High Priest in the order of Melchizedek....God is no Priest, he is God.

6) Duet 18:18-19, Acts 3:22-23, John 14:24 2:22 kjv explain? Who is like Moses, ever compared Messiah and Moses? and yes, Messiah is part Levi!

7) Who is the Chosen One, the Anointed of is the Lamb? Somebody picked was hand picked and Messiah did the will of our Father. Again, not God.

8) Who is the servant? Is the servant greater than he who sent him? I think John 13:16 kjv I believe that's the verse....God is no man's servant but Yeshua is the servant of our Father!

9) who is the first fruits? GOD is not first fruits, he is God....The only Begotten Son is our Father's first fruits Jeremiah 2:3 and 1 Corinthians 15:20 kjv

10) Who dwells in Messiah? Who is the Living Tabernacle? Mark 14:15, Eph 2:20-22 kjv

11) Who is the Lamb in Revelation Cht 5...

12) John 3:16 not God but the Son....do you believe?

13) When the Apostles ask if they could set at the Right/Left Hand what was Yeshua's reply? Matthew 20:21-23 kjv It's not his decision but our Father's.

14) When does Messiah return? and if he doesn't know and we know God knows all....Brother, you have a problem with this trinity thing!

I could keep going with the questions and I answered most for you but I think you understand, the trinity is bad teaching, false doctrine. God is One but who is Israel? Isaiah 45:13 and 15 kjv and Isaiah 43:15 kjv. and Jeremiah 2:3 kjv....My friend, you are learning...only stick with scripture.

If you understand who is talking as in John 7:16-17 kjv Please read it Carefully, Messiah is the vessel of our Father. Last note: read Joseph and Pharaoh starting in Genesis Cht 37 to the Pharaoh with God and Joseph as Yeshua. Hope this helped. Read everything carefully...don't leave out words and don't add words. I can not find trinity in scripture why? I think you know! Peace!
