Just found your channel last week and you really inspired me to give this a real shot again. An injury took me out of the army about 5 years ago, and my fitness went way down over the years. With a baby on the way, I really want to get myself back into shape again and stay in shape to be a positive example for my child growing up. Your videos have already helped since I found your channel just last week, and I'm already starting to see some signs of progress. Thanks for what you do!

I’m 27 percent, type 2. Was 33 percent in 2018. Lost 55 lbs. Still got a lot more todo. I travel for my career, go to planet fitness and use hotel gyms. Was going to do a HIIT session this morning but found your walking video and instead walked for an hour, 3.5 miles. Felt great. Can’t wait for my workout tomorrow. Happy I found your channel! Your information and transformation is amazing!! Keep up the great work sir!

Note: Motivation isn’t the key, it takes dedication and discipline. Working out the days I’m not motivated are always the best feeling mentally! I will crush my goal this year!! Peace, love and liberty!!

Great video Doc! I'm 220lbs, 5'9ft and about in category 3 prolly at 30-35%. Been fit since high school up until I turned 25 and just did nothing about it. Now I'm 32 and getting active again. Definitely gonna follow your guidance and tips through your videos and hopefully with a consultation some time! Keep up the insightful videos!

I’m scenario 2 @ around 30% body fat; 105.6 kg. I applaud you for being able to give all of that information in 1 video; in a little under 15mins. It was engaging and straight to the point. It was exactly what I needed. Thanks. 👏🏾👌🏾💪🏾

Scenario 2: Started going to the gym 2 weeks ago and I have been doing 100 press-ups a day for a month. Will include and start Abs on Thursday. Thank you for the formula it all makes sense.

Fitness Journey: previously 17.5 stones, 40/42 waist and XL. Never been in shape or had a six pack and man boobs and poor mindset. Now 13 stone and 34 waist and size medium.

Goal: Six pack / Abs / No love handles / Topless in the summer / Stronger / Muscle up

Thank you again for your videos and advise as I used some of your recommendations in my first consistent fitness journey!

Okay. I am a 300lb person starting on my fitness at the age of 44 years old. I turn 45 in April. I have struggled with wait for the last 15 years and I have not been lighter than 265 lb in the last 15 years. I have to lower back ruptures that prevent me from doing heavy squats, but I do have a fitness tracker and am able to walk the 10, 000 steps per day and make sure that my diet is on point. I appreciate your time and your videos.

I’m currently on my path right now, I was 30% body fat but got a solid foundation of muscle, 72lbs of skeletal muscle to be exact, I now weigh 165 lbs on average at 25% body fat and gained 4 lbs of muscle, so I lost 5% and gained 4lbs of muscle in ONLY a month, then again I’m a power lifter in school so I workout morning and after school and do cardio, also in a calorie deficit with moderate carbs and high protien.

Hi Dr Mike,

I am scenario 1 atm, i've played sports all my life, always been fit, just before i got married in 2017, I had a series and hernia operations that destroyed my abdominal muscles, and i've struggled ever since to regain my core strength and get fit again...I am currently going through a divorce, not in a great space, but decided instead of letting this get the better of me, i will try to create the best version of myself, so i got back into gym in Dec, I've lost almost 10kgs to date...but getting those abs showing and building the physique i want to achieve will go a long way into allowing me to find a few things to smile about in life.

Cheers all the best!

I am scenario #3 for sure. I am 6'0", 195lbs. I've been working out now for 7 years. At my peak I was down to 180lbs and was seeing partial 6-pack but last year my wife got brain cancer and I haven't been able to get my steps in until now. I'm starting back on my journey to get the 6-pack back. Would love your help - long time fan, Jamie

Hey Dr Mike, I am scenario 2 with 35% body fat.

I started my weight loss journey December 1 and I set myself a 90 day challenge.

6 Workouts a week
Eat in a calorie deficit -500
Walk 10, 000 steps a day
Drink 3000L water daily

Today is my day77.

I've lost 11lb which I'm happy about.

I love the content. Common sense and accessible and science based … with that being said can you stop saying “with that being said” … it’s a YouTube epidemic and you are SO much better than them. Keep it; loving your advice

my tactics is 2 step: 1-Bulk at maximum size of muscles with freely eating, 60 minutes of high intense lifting & 15 minutes of cardio each day, 7 days/week, 2- Cut with applying calories deficits. Target one year to achieve 6 packages.

I’m definitely scenario 2. I’m around 30% body fat with weak abs. I’ve been going to the gym since new years consistently. I started the year off at 277 and now I’m at 260-263 with water weight fluctuations. My goal is to hit 215 and be under 18% body fat.

Hello Dr. Diamonds, I’m Mark. I was on a walker in 2017 after back surgery and was 376 lbs at my greatest weight. By 2019 down to 300 lbs where I would stay until April 2021 i made a decision to hit the gym and beat the odds. They said permanently disabled. 74 straight days to the planet fitness 30 minute workout circle barely able to lift a single plate in most exercise. I lost 40 lbs and in the next 4 months down 100 totals lbs 198 for the first time ever. Now I’m stuck with leftover skin and 28% body fat. I need some assistance humbly to make the right decisions going forward on my journey. It’s been a long road and I can see the finish line it just keeps moving forward. Currently 211 lbs, my goal is 180 and 15% body fat and to not be left within extra a baggage this skin. Thank you for the efforts behind the channel 🙏🏼
