In this tutorial you will learn 3 easy steps in under 5 minutes that will teach you the basic concepts of the moonwalk. I break it down and give you close ups so you can see each detail in the movement. - Michael Jackson first did the moonwalk at the award show Motown 25 in 1983!

- Michael Jackson learned the Moonwalk from Derek "Cooley" Jackson and Jeffrey Daniels

- The "Moonwalk" is also known as the "Backslide"

I've always wanted to learn to moonwalk. This is by far the best tutorial I've seen. Remembering the weight distribution and making it look smooth is a challenge, but once you get it all together it feels amazing. Keep practicing, I promise it's worth it. OMG, I FINALLY FOUND IT!! An easy tutorial on how to moonwalk. Always thought it was the coolest dance but have two left feet that aren't coordinated.
