BBC Radio London presenter Eddie Nestor has talked more about race on his radio show this year than in the whole of the last 18 years.

As his child is about to turn 12 he talks to other fathers about how to talk to his children about race.

Kids only see people as people, mum, dad and schools are where division begins.

If you teach kids to be a victim, they will grow up a victim, you teach them that the world is against them, that's all they will believe.

Anyone who goes about their daily life constantly fixated on race is a very unpleasant and discontented person. Same goes for gender or religion or really any label to be honest. I was raised to treat everyone with respect and consideration (compassion) we are all brothers and sisters. Ultimately we are connected. I believe that connection comes from God.

Tell them to:
1. Train three days a week.
2. Run or run/walk 20 to 30 minutes, two days a week.
3. Take a longer run or run/walk (40 minutes to an hour) on the weekend.
4. Rest or cross-train on your off days.
5. Run at a conversational pace.
6. Consider taking regular walk-breaks.
