I had these series of questions similar to this one a long time ago which I didn't have answer until recently. Find out Dr. John MacArthur's answer to the aforementioned question.

This QA was is from the "Bible Questions and Answers, Part 67" from the Grace To You channel.

Take note that the answer is in a short time constraint and may have explained it further for better understanding. Go to the "Grace to You" YouTube channel and check out more from Dr. John MacArthur and "Grace to You" ministry; Subscribe to their channel!

As a Christian you get this question and my answer has always been "I don't know, He called me to believe Him, not explain Him, that's it". This is the first REAL answer I have heard from the "pulpit". Thank you.

Everyone gets either justice or mercy, but no one gets injustice.

My brother in law, who I actually considered my brother because we were so close, always asked this sort of question. He said nobody ever really has been able to answer this question for him. He was saved when he was young but, though in his head he knew the gospel was 'basically' true, he backslid throughout his adult years. He had many questions but this was one I was never sufficiently able to answer for him. My brother in law passed away suddenly at 45 years of age this summer. How I wish I had stumbled onto this video to show him before he died. I don't know how he would have responded to this answer, but I know it sure would have made him think. I pray my brother in law repented before he died.

I have struggled with Calvinism for a long time with many questions like the one this young man posed. The answer always comes back from Reformed theologians is this answer..."For His Glory"..."God is who He is". I get it in a sense but it really does not answer the question. If Jesus died for the sins of the world, and He did, it only makes sense that He would give those same people a choice to accept or reject Him. I love MacArthur but his answer does not satisfy the question. The struggle between Calvinism and Arminianism will continue. God is Sovereign, yet people make a choice at the same time to accept or reject Christ. The question that was asked, "Why does God create people that He knows are going to hell?" is not answered in this video. Ultimately people go to hell because they reject Christ not because God created them knowing they would go to hell. We will never know how the Holy Spirit has spoken to a person we assume never had a chance to hear the Gospel. What I do know and trust is that nobody will be in hell that didn't make the choice to be there. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life". John 3:16

Well said. I'm grateful to hear a pastor appealing to the Words of God Himself and not vain intellectuals who call themselves "theologians" and devour each other with relentless arguments. And I'm grateful for the humility and honesty that is characteristic of a true disciple of Jesus Christ. God is good. He is glorious. He is just. He is loving and merciful. He is HOLY. To all of these things, we say amen.

I am the Lord, and there is no other.
I create the light and make the darkness.
I send good times and bad times.
I, the Lord, am the one who does these things. Isaiah 45:7. NLT.

Wow!! VERY WELL SAID. His answer was ON POINT! God doesn't ask us to "understand" Him, but just to BELIEVE in Him., simply bcoz we will NVER comprehend Him in our own human, little minds! His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. We always blame God for the injustice, misery, death, inhumane acts but we don't even try to look in ourselves! Well because there's selfishness, envy, jealousy, anger, bitterness to our brothers & sisters.

People have to remember there are things we don't know that God does know. If we knew those things we would understand fully why some go to hell.

What helps me grasp the answer is this, “what’s the alternative”? Either don’t create anyone or create everyone and provide a way for them to be saved if they so choose.

That's the perfect Reforned Christian response.
But, doesn't it simply mean.... "No matter how much things don't make sense... We have no right to question anything."
Another possible title to the clip. "Why does God create people that he will Chose not to save."

God has given you the golden freedom of will. You choose not God. If one doesn’t want to go to hell then they shouldn’t choose it. We are sent here to evolve grow and finds Gods love in our hearts. Some are better at it than others like everything else in this world. Glory to God and much gratitude for the life I was given to live and find him in my heart. Prayers for the world to find God. 🙏🏽🌍

I have no problem understanding that God has foreknowledge of those who would reject His Son. Why does Dr. McArthur make this sound like it is a huge paradox? There is no paradox here.
The problem is that Calvinists believe that God DETERMINES those that go to hell. Anyone can research the theology and know that this is what they believe.
This belief is absolutely false. God does not desire that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. He certainly does not determine that anyone goes to hell. The sinner determines that himself by rejecting salvation through Jesus Christ. He has the free will to do that.

This is insane. To know God is to discern good from evil. For we know God is good. It is beyond argument that a man who breeds dogs and cats for the purpose of torturing them is evil. So to attribute that evil behavior to God who is good is just wrong. How can Macarther not see he is wrong?
