I hope you find this OCD meditation helpful. As someone who has had OCD for many years, I understand how challenging it can be. The combination of yoga, meditation, and therapy has really helped me on my own healing journey and has helped me significantly improve my mental health. I've created this guided meditation for OCD and anxiety to help you to connect with your heart space and quiet your mind. This meditation is designed for all level meditators including beginners. Thank you, I’ve been struggling with ocd but it’s impossible for me to get a therapist so I’m trying to treat it by myself. I feel like this is the first mediation that I actually enjoyed, I will try to do this every morning :)

Thank you, I was having a lot of trouble with my ocd since I just got it this year. I think I’m getting better and I was doing meditations before but this really helped me and I think you make it really relaxing and a whole lot less scary for anyone new starting meditation.

Hi! Just tried this out, and while I still think theres a bit of a disconnect for me, I still appreciate that you took the time to post this video and shared this technique! Once I get more familiar with meditation and mindfulness techniques, I definitely will give this meditation another try!

I do feel a bit calmer now!

I tried this for the first time since ive had ocd syptoms for years hope this works out. I feel very stuck & exhausted literally cant go on with my daily life it triggers it exagerating to the point where I cant even get out of bed brush my teeth & face to eat, even when I shower thats why i procrastinate too much & is one of the reasons why i have very bad sleeping & eating schedules. Especially my hygene triggers my ocd a lot brushing my teeth and face takes me almost an hour & showering more than an hour. Now its getting worst to the point where its been affecting my eating schedules & even for sleep though it mostly worries me the time im always having my first food because of my ocd. My family has no idea of my ocd & think im lazy but they dont know the truth of my behaviour when its actually not because of being lazy its literally my ocd controlling over me & telling me always what to do to protect me from my instrusive obssesive thoughts its so draining. Procrastination is another syptom since we try to avoid doing what triggers our ocd which only makes it get worst, another reason why they think im lazy is because of that without having idea of my ocd since years. Thanks though for making this video ill try to listen every night before sleeping & hope this works

How many times do we have to do the meditation in a day?

Hi Tara, I've been dealing with intrusive thoughts this last year, perhaps out of both repressed anger and joy. Either way, I notice tension and release exercises through physical exercise, sports, wim hof breathing and yoga help me forget about traumatic hangups. Nonetheless I can't always rely on tension buildup exercises for coping. But whatever gets me to pay attention to my physical presence equanimously helps. Thanks for your creating this video and giving up to this facet of mental health. Without holding you to anything, im wondering what other therapies have helped? Thanks
