This meditation encourages a calm awareness of the breath, and also a gentle detachment from the habits of rumination (ie. over-thinking). This session is useful for alleviating symptoms of anxiety, OCD, and depression.

Welcome to this guided meditation which is designed to train your mind for calm detachment from any unwanted patterns of over-thinking.

By practicing these mindful techniques of conscious observation and self acceptance, you will find you are more able to quieten and relax an overly active mind -- and also naturally increase your body's healthy energy, to become a more self assured person in the present moment.

This meditation experience may be repeated as often as you choose to reinforce your positive intentions.

By your own inner direction may you continue to find your greatest waking potential.

This session is suitable and recommended for repeated listening, and regular listening will help compound positive suggestions and / or your own positive results.

The end of this session will provide options for either drifting into a sound night's sleep, or for returning to your fully conscious, awake and alert, positive mind state.

So I fell asleep listening to this guided meditation. It really puts in perspective how many people like me are suffering. It has 20 million views. That means 20 million people with ocd, anxiety, and depression. I hope everyone who comes across this video to have a happy and healthy year.

This video taught me the only technique that worked for my overthinking, anxiety and staying present . Every time a thought comes to my head. I just say, Don’t evaluate . And immediately I stop thinking and become present. It’s life changing. Please try it.

I love how wholesome this comment section is and everyone's just so kind hearted.
Been struggling with depression and anxiety for the past 3 years and now OCD has been kicking in...intrusive thoughts that are not at all in my control...its like my brain is fighting itself.
I just want to feel normal.

This video has become a regular part of my life since I discovered it last year. I went through a phase where I listened to it every single night for months straight. I have severe OCD and obsessive thoughts and whenever I have an outburst of bad thoughts I immediately come to this meditation and it brings my mind to peace. Peace I haven’t felt in years no matter how much therapy I’ve gone through.

If you have awful obsessive thoughts just know you are not alone. I know the urge that comes with those thoughts. Don’t give in to the urgency. You and your thoughts are separate- observe from afar do not get tangled up inside of them.

You are NOT alone. Peace to you ❤️

I keep having panic attacks, I'm over thinking constantly in a bad way, I'm constantly scared and i absolutely have no clue what to do with my life next.. I really need to do these meditations.

Thank you Michael. Two years ago my daughter passed away and the granddaughter that I raised from birth was taken away from me by a father that she had never met, at the age of three. Something inside me broke. I have panic attacks, anxiety and deep depression. Your meditations have been a great help to me. I fall asleep to them every night. I can’t stop overthinking and it makes me so very anxious. I’m sick of pills. The mental health team aren’t helpful at all. So I’m just starting to try these uploads. Hello to all

Being in the hospital with my 5 year old daughter while she fights cancer and everything else over the past 3 years has given me severe anxiety and panic attacks. I was so skeptical of meditation... but so glad I tried it. I only wish I had discovered this sooner. Thank you!
