Learn Fusion 360 for Beginners

We typically make videos on Fusion 360 and CNC Machining projects but we don’t often start from the beginning. So that’s what this series will do - assume nothing and start from scratch. First off is a Fusion 360 Sketch tutorial, followed by some 3D modeling and a quick rendering example.

Dude, this is awesome. I‘ve used fusion360 forever for simple 3d printable models. But I always made them to size and never truly parametric. I‘m getting into cnc machining and decided to rectify my knowledge gap. This video is by far the best one on the topic. Everything else I‘ve watched is either overly complicated or way too basic. This one is absolutely on point, engaging and fun to watch. Seriously well done!

I watched this video last Saturday and then downloaded Fusion 360. WOW, I will never use Sketch Up again. It's great to be able to use parameters and parametric modeling.

Great Presentation, I've watched a lot of beginning videos on 360 and learned more on this then I have from all others.

I've used Fusion 360 for the past year and a half for work and 3d printing projects. Wanting to get into the cnc side of the software so I'm very excited for this series!

This is great Justin, very helpful. I need to get out of my current box of thinking Fusion 360 for 3D printing and Vcarve for CNC. I am looking forward to more videos and your “Learn the Basics of CNC and CAM” I am signed up and ready!

This was great. I new to Fusion and 3D Printing and this video introduced me to a lot of cool tools, tips, and shortcuts. Can't wait for the next one!

definitely following, Been trying to kick the Sketchup habit for my projects for a few years now.
I always turn back to it because most of what i need is napkin level CAD and sketchup is quick and dirty.
The model library was nice too. However it's really clunky for any 3D printing and organic design and i've outgrown it.
Thanks for creating this, love the "oops" being shown because that's how a new user would do it.

This was mind-opening for me. I'm brand new to modeling and drawing, and the little I do know was from SketchUp, but Fusion seems to more obvious choice, being a cabinet builder. My question is, I'm looking for a way to make a repeatable component like a shaker style cabinet door, that I can change the dimensions of on the fly, rather than draw out every door on a built-in kinda thing. Greatly appreciate your work.

for blank slate beginners id say a section dedicated to hotkeys and the basic buttons would be most beneficial.

I just ordered my first CNC and have no experience with any of the softwares. Is Fusion 360 still free? I am also debating on purchasing VCarce Pro. Do you have any experience with that?

This is so awesome, I am looking for help when cutting carving multiples of the same sign I bought the fusion subscription.

Hey Justin in your video intro your cabinet model is adding panels at a set interval... How did you do this? I don't find it in your other videos, which are great by the way. I ask because this is a trick i've been trying to figure out for awhile. Thanks
