God this is so important and can’t be stressed enough. My eating disorder started because I went on a “health kick” that ended up being too extreme. No added sugar, no carbs, less fat etc— these food was good, and these foods were bad. I would skip dinner plans after work because that was strictly my workout time. At the end of of it all, I was constantly hungry but also constantly afraid of food. I just simply lost the ability to eat eat normally and intuitively. It’s not about good and bad foods; a healthy life is both physical AND mental. You cannot have one without the other.

So love the 80/20 rule...don’t eat like an a-hole (80%) but if you do (20%) then don’t make yourself feel like an a-hole for that 20%. So good!
