I think the original guy is talking about people who claim to have faith in Jesus, but then refuse his commandments and ordinances. No one is disputing the necessity of faith. After all we are saved by grace through faith. But faith itself is manifest in the works of the Father and the commandments of Jesus.
Of course you don't need to wash up in order to take a bath. Becoming washed is a result of the bath. Likewise baptism isn't a requirement for believing in Jesus, rather the desire for baptism is a result of faith in Jesus.

The guy with the glasses don’t realize being crucified with Christ (baptism) is after being saved. We are saved by grace through faith in the shed blood of Jesus on the cross.

Here is the thing though, baptism doesnt save, it is the next step we are suppised to take after being saved. What if somebody hears of God, and puts his faith in Jesus, beleives, and on the way to church to get baptized he gets hit by a car. He is still saved. Baptism doesnt save you, faith does

Why doesn't it say that in John 3:16 then?

Inability to be baptised does not send you to hel* and you dont have to be physically crucified, you crucify ungodly behavior of yourself by repenting that sinful nature.
