Let's dive into the five stages of burnout together, starting with what I call the fired-up period, commonly known as the honeymoon stage. This is when everything feels fresh and exciting, whether it's a new job, relationship, home, or neighborhood. You're bursting with inspiration and productivity, fully immersing yourself in the experience. But let's face it, nothing stays new forever.

Stage two is like a once-loved song that's lost its charm. The initial enthusiasm fades, and you find yourself checking the clock at work or wishing your time with a loved one would end. Stress starts creeping in, signaling the onset of burnout.

As stage three sets in, chronic stress becomes the norm. Your problem-solving skills decline, and the joy you once felt diminishes. You may start feeling resentful or cynical as you grapple with a sense of powerlessness.

By stage four, the fire has fizzled out, leaving you with feelings of failure and self-doubt. Whether it's a job or a relationship, you question your ability to succeed, leading to a downward spiral of negativity.

Finally, stage five is habitual burnout, where everything feels like an uphill battle. You're mentally and physically exhausted, unable to find joy in anything. It's a permanent state of burnout that requires intervention.

So, what can you do to combat burnout? First, detach from whatever is causing you stress. Take a break, get some fresh air, and change your scenery. Second, relax but don't overdo it. Find a balance between unwinding and staying connected to reality.

Lastly, focus on something you can control. Whether it's a hobby, a small project, or a new venture, regain a sense of agency in your life. By taking these steps, you can reignite your confidence and overcome burnout.

Remember, you're not alone in this journey. Let's support each other as we navigate the challenges of burnout. If you want to delve deeper into this topic, check out the library on the screen for more resources. Together, we can keep moving forward.

Thank you, Kenn. Need to tackle burnout--this is a good start. Much needed.

Most excellent. Me and Karra and Donna Douglas and Heather O'Rourke are gonna build a small house to get out of poverty and end the constant stress and burnout. they call it a sanctuary. Built to my needs.

Thank you! Still alternating between phase 1 and 2 here as long as I can set my limits where I need them and follow my routines. But beware if I can't - then I'm in phase 5 within a single hour and it takes me days to get out.
