Just completed a 6 day dry fast. Nerve pain in my left arm gone, floaters in eyes gone, eye glasses are now too strong. Not to mention the weight loss.

Just did a 48 hour dry fast. Back into ketosis, and feeling/ thinking sharp again. It works my friends.

Prefer Dry fasting to wet fasting. You have less hunger with a dry fast. And you get more results from dry fasting. Ive come close to to 5 days. Loved it.

I reversed all my nerve damage dry fasting years ago and as someone stated above, it is a lot easier than water fasting!

I have done one day of dry fasting...no big deal if you practice fasting on the regular.

On a smaller scale back in the 1960s my Mom fed us supper at 5 pm. They really didn't care about keeping kids hydrated back then. Then there was typically no food or drink until 7 a.m. Guess we were doing dry fasting every night for 14+ hours. We were all thin and healthy. The adults were too.

I’m on hour 32 of dry fasting… going to go for 72 hours.. I took 13, 000 steps yesterday (first full day) by taking a brisk 5.5 mile walk in the park. I’m going to do that again today, I’m actually not hungry but my mouth is extremely dry.. that’s it. I’m healing my body from thyroid and autoimmune issues. I agree that dry fasting is way easier than water or partial fasting. I’ll keep y’all posted on how I did Wednesday night!!

I find that dry fasting for 20 hours then going into my water fast is so much better than just going straight into water fasting. I’m not sure the reasoning behind it but I’m 17 hours in and I feel good. I know once I start drinking water, the cravings will start and I’m going start talking myself out of eating.

Great video!!
I’m on hour 63 of a dry fast (in perspective I stopped eating/drinking Sunday night and it’s late Wednesday afternoon now) I feel great, just normal lack of energy as in a water fast.

The only difference is that my body is a lot warmer, which I heard that’s because our cells are turning into little ovens burning off all the crap and weak cells.

My goal is 7 days, however, albeit, I’m incorporating my Christian faith in this heavily and I think that’s why it’s going so well.

I've been always doing dry fasting during and off Ramadan as a Muslim and always believed that it is better and healthier than normal fasting . I'm happy that this is being researched

I've been doing a lot more dry fasting and it's so amazing!! I know it sounds crazy at first and it could be scary but learn from a lot of different people and start experimenting with it while listening to your body and paying attention to how you feel. There are a lot of great people with a ton of experience with dry fasting that even guide and support people through a fast! This is the most powerful healing tool I've done. I suggest to keep learning and please be careful and patient. There's no rush, let's honor our body's journey :) Been doing 36 and 48 hour dry fasts recently and learning so much and being patient with my body and supporting it in any way I can :)

My favourite type of fast. I just love when I dry fast. The mental and physical effects of an extended dry fast are purely positive. I clicked so fast on this video to hear the science behind a dry fast, broken down by Thomas.

I completed a 66 hour dry fast, on day 2 and 3 I walked about 10k steps. Got slightly elevated heart rate on day 3 that persisted so decided to end it with few sips of electrolyte water followed by some watermelon, papaya, blueberries and mixed veggies stir fry. Lost about 5-6 lbs

I often do 7 l day water fasts and decided to do the last three dry, I'm on day 6.5 rn. Interestingly, I always get really dry skin and lips when I water fast even though I'm drinking a ton, amazingly this doesn't seem to happen on a dry fast, my skin has gotten softer and more moist since stopping water.

I’m fasting now because it’s Ramadan. We dry fast intermittently each day. But we are also encouraged to fast outside of Ramadan, but not to over do it. Ramadan is like the super cleanse and detox month providing you eat healthy. For maintenance we ideally should fast two days a week. But we are actually discouraged from fasting any more than every other day. Fasting alternate days is one of the best fasts one can do if you’re healthy and able, and that was the fast of Prophet David. But any more than that we are told is not good for us. That’s just from our perspective, and wanted to share.

I remember doing 90 hours of dry fast a few years ago ... I am still alive and kicking! I had 2x 48h in a week last month. those fasts are powerful, I do feel the rebuilding and the cleaning happening inside me. and surprisingly it is easier to get through than water fast. but I as well agree that it is a HUGE stressor for the body. the body doesn't understand the reason for the fast and is basically under attack, so I tend to not use the dry fast routinely, only a couple times a year.
