I think dry fasting is actually easier than water fasting. When I drink water, I also get hungry. But when I'm consuming nothing I am not hungry

I dry fast every month for 72 hrs during my period. It gets rid of the cramps and bloating. The pain used to be unbearable before I started fasting.

I heard when you dry fast your electrolytes stay in balance. When fasting the more water you drink the easier to flush those electrolytes out.
People in Bible did a lot of 3 day dry fast and were fine.

Thanks a million for all the effort so far. I love your videos.
I do also fasting during Ramadan and have no issues. I’m 57 and do this since I’m 16.
Another brilliant side effect is: u also do not smoke during your fasting.

I am on day 2 dry fasting. The first day was difficult. Day 2 was easier. Hope day 3 would be a lot easier.

I am going to start with dryfasting tomorrow. I have done IF from time to time for a while for health benefits and waterfasting a couple of times for religious reasons. I am now going to start with dryfasting for religous reasons as well and following up with waterfasting. I am looking into the benefits to boost my faith and motivation to carry on to do it. THank you for explaning it to me!

I’ve been 3 day dry fasting sporadically now for over 30 years. I’ve never had any serious illnesses, by Gods grace. I attribute this to Gods mandate in the Bible. Mathew 6:16-18. Also Esther dry fasted 3 days in the Bible. Esther 4:16. Miraculous spiritual and health benefits. GODS WISDOM…..👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Dry fasting worked great for me for the weight loss, energy, and autophagy (which I believe result in many of the benefits you listed).

I did a 6 day hard dry fast and then another hybrid (2 days hard dry, 1 day water fast, 3 days hard dry) 2 weeks later. Previously, in the last 2 years, I had done water only fasts of (21, 14, 11 (2 times), and a few 1 week).

With water fasting, weight loss per week seemed to peak the first week (after excluding the initial water weight loss). Also with water fasting, unlike the account of others who have water fasted, I always felt like I couldn't wait to eat and felt mostly lower energy with short bouts of crazy amounts of energy. I always took salt/potassium/magnesium combo salts when I felt low energy and it helped, but never felt great. After the fast, I felt very good and got comments on how younger I looked. I also didn't really notice any muscle loss.

With dry fasting, I had very good energy and never felt bad. However, after the fast was done (MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW STEPS ON HOW TO REFEED), my energy levels are off the charts good, to a level I haven't experienced before. The weight loss here is unreal too, I feel like I lost a little over a pound a day when I measured myself before the fast and after refeeding. I didn't notice any muscle loss either.

I just came across Dr Berg a explanation. I love the guy. But wasn't clicking. So I searched again. Found this page. After the first few comments from folks. I've realized this could really be beneficial for my adhd symptoms. Let's give it a shot. Thanks cus. Now subscribed

I find dry fasting far easier than water fasting especially if you have an “all or nothing” mindset.

I've heard 1 day of dry fast is equivalent to 3 days water fast? Inflammation and mucous.

Although you could lose weight by fasting, I view fasting, dry or water, as healing for the body. It is best to lose weight though your diet.

Observant Jews do dry fasting on Yom Kippur once a year for one day.

There’s a YouTube channel I watch called A Healthy Alternative and the guy just talked about dry fasting today! It must be a sign!

I think someone that is obese can use water fasting first to lose a major amount of weight (30 days is a good number) - think David Goggins style. However, light exercise to all muscles to maintain mitochondria respiration. BEFORE fasting I suggest that your nutrients be topped up, like vitamin A, D, K2, C, B complex, Magnesium, Omega 3's, Ergothioneine, PQQ, and Creatine front loaded. Also remember the refeed is the most important phase because you need to regrow. I think the dry fasting advantage is that it removes extra fat cells (for water) and doesn't just "lower the gas tank" like it does in water fasting. For that reason, dry fasting should be last.
