Just a tip...All debt validations and disputes should actually be sent via certified mail with a return receipt to the credit bureau or collection agency because they only have 30 days from the date they received the letter to verify the debt and if it's not verified in 30 days, they are required to remove it. If you dispute online, that means it's just a computer verifying the debt and most likely it won't be removed, if you mail a certified letter to them a human being actually has to go to the creditors and verify the debts. Another thing is you should request a copy of the contract binding both parties (you and either the creditor or collection agency) with both party's wet ink signatures in a letter by certified mail so that there is a witness to it being delivered. Corporations can't sign because they are soul less fictions and no 3rd party can sign on their behalf.

You cannot get a mortgage loan with active disputes on your credit report. There is harm in trying to dispute. If the dispute fails, you have to get them to remove the dispute by sending letters and waiting.
