All these prospects are so respectful to Grant. He has leverage going in. I want to see him cold call a complete stranger who has no idea who he is, with a flight mechanism and no interest, and observe how Grant handles hostility and nastiness

Pretty awesome. One thing I noticed, the “Yeah, yeah, yeah” response from Grant. That’s a no, no in sales and clear response that you’re not listening to your client.

In my personal experience selling to salespeople and sales managers who want to increase their sales is vastly easier than selling to non-salespeople. The salespeople are lured by the smooth pitch, and want those same skills - salespeople, including myself are always looking for a shortcut around the grind that is sales. Your average person is generally turned off by the super smooth sales pitch - they prefer a person that seems relatable and honest.

Dang that is so good. Simplify the reasons, simply the product and reinforce the expectation that your product will help. He's putting everything in the caller's shoes. The Caller just seems not willing to commit and is not the decision maker

I have been a car salesperson for a little over a year now and I always ask a few questions in the close if they are not wanting to purchase. Questions similar to Cardone's questions.
1. Price?
2. Is it the dealership?
3. Have I not done a good enough job for you?
4. Is this vehicle right for you? etc.


I will now be adding
5. "AND I DON'T THINK THIS IS THE CASE. YOU'RE NOT THE DECISION MAKER?"



I LOVE IT. I can't wait to do it.

Phone sales is an acquired taste. Closing a deal isn't the hard part, GETTING to the closing IS the hard part. I seriously need to TM that :-)
