It's kind of ironic how Protestants claim the passage about "no images" should be taken so literally, meaning none at all under any circumstances. Yet when they go to John 6 they claim, "That just means reading the Word" when the Greek word used for "eat" translates into English as "munch, crunch, gnaw, chew".

Thanks for this Keith. I go to Catholic Mass daily I was a Protestant. One of the reason I became Catholic was my prayers answerred through the intercession of the Saints. I used to pick up many prayer cards when on holiday in Italy or France of local Saints . On these Saintly intercession Prayer Card does it ever not say Saint intercession is a Prayer to God. I found these Prayers very effective I prayed the Rosary and attended Catholic Mass eventually I became a Confirmed Catholic. I love my Catholic Pilgrimages. The Stories of the Saints are the hardships people went through to proclaim the Gospel and to suffer for Jesus to live very holy lives. I watched a silly Amazon Documentary were it said that Saints were attempts to placate people from Roman Gods which is really nonsense it would be like saying Appostles were pagans and Jesus and the Trinity had no power. The documentary was very poor quality and with out a biblical stance. You know were I live the UK our whole country was converted to Christianity be the early Saints which numbered more than Saint Columba. Our whole western and Eastern Christianity owes its existence to the Saints. Even the Anglicans don't dishonour the Saints except in not Prayinf there intercession or to celebrate their feast days. Oh the Anglican Church does honour the Apparition at Walsingham of Our Lady with High Anglican Christians so even they acknowledge the communion of Saints.
