More than 300 bishops attended the Council of Nicaea in 325 where did they come from if they didnt exist before constantine.

Yep, Ch66 of Justin Martyr's First Apology. Hippolytus of Rome's The Apostolic Tradition would be the next earliest reference.

Thank you for clarifying this. I have always known in a way that the Catholic church was directly connected to the apostles. But this information has made it more clear to me, now knowing that it is the sacrifice of the eucharist that is handed down from the apostles to bishops and priests through all of the successive generations within the church.

Isn’t St Ignatius the first bishop of Antioch 30 to 107 taught by St Paul 8 to 67 pre Constantine?

FIRST. As in, the Catholic Church was the FIRST Church and the ONLY Church founded by Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Not Constantine, who merely legalized what was already in existence, hence the lack of documents concerning the establishment of that so-called new church and the complete and utter absence of anyone protesting its establishment, as we saw with the Gnostics, Aryans, Marcionites, and so many others.

What 'pastors' are engaging in with their 'flock' is little more than anti-catholic propaganda on a grand scale!
What does that have to do with Christianity and loving one's neighbor???

I want Protestants who think Catholicism started at Nicaea to at least deny it's conclusion. Jesus was not consubstantial (or eternal) with the father and they have to stop celebrating Easter with us.

Moses never used the name Jesus.

Yahusha never used the name jesus .

Constantine never used the name Jesus.

No, Constantine did not start the Catholic Church. Jesus did. Read Matthew 16 There were "churches" because they were in different locations. The goal of spreading the Word of God was begun by the apostles in teams of two. What Constantine did was end the persecutions of Christians by making Christianity the faith of the Roman Empire..

We are all brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ and the Fathers of the Church were under the apostles of Jesus Christ

Does anyone actually read the Bible themselves? Catholics or Protestants? Doesn’t seem like it. Prayers for you to follow Messiah, not man.

I'm not (Roman) Catholic.

For someone to claim that Constantine "founded the (Roman) Catholic Church" demonstrates a massive ignorance of history.

I hate that you all must deal with these kind of absurd claims.

That is a helpful start! This sets the argument of back to the time between the resurrection and the 4th Century

Wouldn’t ignatious of Antioch’s apology describing the mass be the first time after Paul?

As a Catholic I do find I get on with wily crazy "baptist" ministries then I do with protest-ants.. Like I am catholic and Irish and lived through the times of the troubles in Ireland.. I don't wish to change and I see differences but I can get along with the mad American "non-denominational" baptist churches but cannot agree with the protestants.. I do quite agree with this video.. And not so much the pastorship, I do like hearing them read from our bible though.. Unlike the protest ants and the witnesses intentionally cutting bits out of the good book.. Jesus warned to never add too or take away from the word of God.. Maybe that's why I don't mind hearing them reading the bibles unlike other groups.. **Cough, protty dogs, cough cough**
😅😅😅

Constantine and the Romans being detail oriented logical people certainly brought the strong desire to try and explain things like the eucharist with transubstantiation. The obsession with sacraments being 'valid' and giving strict rules. The orthodox came from the same original church's as Roman catholics but do not have the same desire to try and give man made explanations to things that man can not explain. Constantine did not start the Roman church, but without him and the Romans, there would probably only be one church, the orthodox catholic church.
