Timelapse Shows Helene Hit Big Bend

New footage shows Hurricane Helene’s assault on Florida’s Big Bend region as the Category 4 storm made landfall on September 26.

We just lost my great grandparents house in Suwannee which is just down the coast from Horseshoe. That house along with many others have been there for 50+ years and endured storm after storm. Storm surge came inches away last year during Idalia, and nowhere near that all the years before. This was a 1, 000 year storm for this area.

My Sincere Prayers for Everyone who has been affected by this horrible hurricane. I can't even imagine what You all went through and are still going through. Stay strong and hold on to your family and friends and take comfort in that.
