South Carolina media is saying it was a tropical storm. I live here. That was a raw hurricane in the upstate. I’ve been through many tropical storms and hurricanes in the Charleston area. This one was the most intense storm I’ve ever seen in upstate South Carolina. Somethin ain’t right

How rare is it for a hurricane’s storm to track so far inland? Has this happened before?

i had no idea about this hurricane, until i just heard it was in north carolina. i live in the great lakes illinois and one day, not knowing about the hurricane a random and seriously loud, and long gust of wind blew through the trees, and you could hear it from your window. it’s weird to know that wind came from hurricane helene, that i didn’t even know about.

That last second tiny shift to the east before landfall saved Tallahassee from being utterly walloped

Watching the path it took is simply insane, because right as the worst of it was about to hit right where I live, a tiny weaker spot appears no larger than my town just as it passes over, and the spot disappears becoming all dark red again after it passes. Literally, every town around me got it way worse, and just knowing it was that close is blowing my mind because while it was happening, I had no idea it even was a hurricane. My phone sent me a flash flood warning. I don't watch the news. I was aware that there was a hurricane, but not that I was in the middle of one. Even though the worst of it missed us, we still got it worse than any storm I've ever personally witnessed in the almost 40 years I've lived here. Some areas were still flooded and were only accessible by boat, so even within the town itself, we made out better than most, and that's with a giant tree crashing down on our car port, and both cars making it out almost completely unscathed with only one sustaining a busted windshield. I had known that the tree in question was gonna go one day, and I thought for sure when it did, it would hit the house. I just can't wrap my head around how many lucky breaks came our way that day.

Spoke to friend in Vidalia, GA. Winds were 107 to 112 mph in other areas. Said that there was looting during storm and day after storm. Meadows Hospital had a stabbing. Irate person started a fire at their Walmart because they were angry about having to wait for hours to get in store. Looters attempted to steal gas from Line crew's trucks. Personally been thru 2 very damaging storms. No power for a month. Second storm we had no power for 17 days. There was only limited incidents. Although a fatal shooting in gas line about a week after storm hit.

Blackrock signed 90m contract for lithium and quartz in ashville nc. Resident's obviously didnt want that. If you look at the path helene took it literally turned 90 degrees left directly near/in ashville nc.
Coincidence???

The marked eye clearly doesn't follow the actual eye of the storm, once it hits land. Wonder what they're trying to pull here?

first time I've ever known of a hurricane to be basically a tropical storm while approaching land like this, then increasing dramatically and rapidly to category 4 Usually the process is in reverse. It's stronger over the water then gets weaker when it hits land. But not here. . Weather modification!!!! Someone do some research to find out who was up and around there to make this happen. You know. The sonic waves and the cloud seeding that took place.

Cat 4 Helene 140 mph max winds. Its diameter was 822 miles and had a wind field that stretched 370 miles. AccuWeather says $165 billion in storm damage and economic losses.

Same will happen with Milton they saying it will be a 3 at landfall but my instincts are telling me it will be no lower than a 4 & then decrease to a 3 once it goes past Orlando! They blatantly be lying to keep down frenzy(Which is already here) but the death toll rises with their deception smh!! Stay safe folks!!
