Do You Want A Malinois - Part Two - How To Malinois

The purpose of making this video was to show the day to day demeanour and energy of a malinois, to show what it's like to live with one. I am by no means an expert on the breed, I have owned Envy for three years now and in this video I simply related our experiences with her, what it's like to live with her and what other people also have to say about the breed.

I really enjoyed this. Humorous and lighthearted but should silence all the people that left ridiculous comments on the first Malinois video about how "untrained" Envy is. She is beautifully trained! love her smile.

you are my favorite go to video for people who just have to have a Malinois. Your humor and accurate portrayal of what life is really like is refreshing. Thank you!

I love the way malinois are good at communicating (1:35) when it looked at you to mean "I know you said 'leave it', but I want to play with that"

"Has bitey face ready to go!" I laughed a bit too hard at that :)

Got a mal/red heeler mix. All mal behaviors you mention. Upside down bitey face and all. Awesome training partner, great sense of humor that GSD usually don’t have.

I love those 2 videos. I’ve watched them before getting my Malinois and now after living with her for 7 month rewatched and was like “that’s so etna hahahaha” all the time. You don’t know what you get yourself into until they’re here. But as you said in video 1. They’re sportscars and one needs to be prepared !

Dat bitey face tho <3 <3 <3

I love the Mal crazy face when they're half wild/wanting cuddles. They just have so much personality. A Mal is endless fun if you have the time & attention they need from you. It's so funny reading comments by people who think that this is a poorly trained Mal. They've probably only ever seen a Mal in other youtube videos - when they're in work mode. This is what they're like at home. Crazy, active, goofy, loving, curious, noisey, and BITEY. Must bite all the things. Like a toddler with teeth. You really need a sense of humour to appreciate life with these dogs.

I have a Dutch Shepherd (a Malinois with stripes) and she is a carbon copy of Envy. So much energy, but such a goofball.

I am so entertained watching "Mal" videos because they are so beautiful, smart, energetic, etc. How I wish I could own one, but my current circumstances prevent that, being disabled and having tremendous difficulty to walk/ maneuver. I have stiff person syndrome.

i have a year old mal, he is very calm and placid at home, sleeps everywhere. He never acts out or misbehaves. I see alot of comments about how these dogs are not a pet, this is bullshit. My mal is a house pet, gets regular walks and is very obedient, i do agree however that they are not a dog to have as a cuddly buddy that will sleep all day while you are working or cooking etc. He needs his walks and obedience and "job". bit generally, dedicating two hours to a walk every day, and obedience training they turn out pretty well. however, if you give them an inch they will take a mile, so you must be assertive.

Holy smokes I think that my rescue dog is 90% Malinois that looks JUST like a American Bulldog! I don't know German so he is trained in English...which is fitting given the "American" in American Bulldog. We can't do the walking between the legs either because he is roughly the size of a small horse but EVERYTHING else is dead on (mouthy, taking over the other dogs, following me everywhere etc). Honestly great videos! I had never heard of a Malinois which is why I watched the first video you did (talking about them being part jungle cat). You have a great sense of humor and obviously love your pets! Thanks for sharing!!
