Why did God kill the people in the flood if He loves people

May I suggest, "the windows of heaven were open" during the flood of Noah, God poured out His grace on the world saving us alive thru Noah and his family....or no flesh would have survived the corruption.
Jesus said: "so as in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the day of the coming of the Son of Man".

God has regret? God who knew what we were going to be and what we were going to do since before he created us has regret? Really?! How does one regret something that is part of one's plan. I'm sorry but one cannot regret something that you planed and deliberately executed according to that plan.

I have a question for you. If God used the great flood to kill everything in the world because "man" was evil, and spared Noah and his family because they were not, why is there still evil in the world? God must have known that when he killed everyone in the world it would not extinguish evil so why did he do it?

Also, why did God kill little babies. Were the little babies evil as well? What could a baby have done that could be classified as evil? Poop their pants or maybe pee on mom while she changes the poopie loin cloth?

What is the path to heaven for everyone who existed before Jesus Christ died on the cross and came back to life? I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one goes to the father except through me. That statement is declarative and unambiguous. If Jesus is the only path to heaven how do people like Noah get to heaven?
