Teach got offended that a student had an opinion that wasn’t his so he treated her as a child to the point where she almost cried. Bro I’m in college.

In my music appreciation, the teacher skipped over three chapters. He said, "I don't like rock and roll or heavy metal so I'm not going to teach about them in my class." He was true to his word. On one of the final tests (which was a massive chunk of the grade) there were several questions on those chapters. Almost the entire class failed because he refused to teach what he was supposed to. He almost lost his job at the college by pulling that stunt. Not a single person in that class left him a positive review.

I remember when I was 16, I tried to talk to my guidance counsellor about some major self issues and told her that it felt like a part of me constantly felt like I was never doing enough.
When I went home that day, my mum took me into the kitchen, away from my siblings and step dad, and very worriedly asked me if I was alright. I said, "Yeah, why? What's wrong?", only for her to reveal that the teacher had called my mum and told her that I had told her (the teacher) that I was hearing voices in my head. Wtf??? Thankfully, I was able to tell my mother what ACTUALLY happened, and she gave the school a very angry and upset phone call back the next day.

I have a good one, when I was in Secondary School (I’m not from the US) we had “art classes” that students could choose, it ranged from theatre, chorus, sculpture, etc, etc.
I chose Chorus, since I like singing and my voice is fairly good when I do it. Anyway, my teacher back then was OBSESSED with us going to school on days we weren’t supposed to because he felt like we should do presentations religiously (this was optional, but he forced us) because F*** our weekends I guess. I, for the most part, didn’t mind going if I had nothing else to do, but that wasn’t the case for everyone.
At the time I was struggling with serious mental health issues and was attending therapy, I was so bad my therapist asked my mom (I was like 13/14) to take me TWICE a week no matter what.
One of those appointments landed on the day we were supposed to go and sing for some random people that went to see the school, but since it was optional and I had therapy I didn’t go. Turns out a vast majority of us didn’t go, and this teacher decided he would scold us, very aggressively, next time we had class, and that’s what he did.
But he added another layer, he decided he would ask us to stand up and tell him why we weren’t there and then, no matter our answer, tell us how ridiculous of a reason that was.
I hope you know where this is going but when I told him I had therapy that day he wasted no time to laugh and say “Do you go to therapy? On the days I ask you to be here? Please. Did you have therapy before class and that’s why you were late?”. I just stood there in silence while some of my classmates gasped, my generation is very big on Mental Health and messing with Therapy is always been a big no no.
I felt stupid and humiliated because of this stupid man who thought my struggles were not as important as his stupid presentation therefore me going to get help must have been made up and because of how bad I was back then I believed It, so I sat down and started to cry.
Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE lost it.
The people next to me tried to comfort me, but everyone else, around 25 kids, stood up and started YELLING at him. It was so loud and messy I couldn’t even make out what they were saying. I wasn’t crying a lot so I calmed down quickly and I got to hear one of my friend look him in the eye and say “If I said you’re an asshole then you should just accept it.” Not sure what she was answering to, or what prompted that reaction from her but that lead to 20 minutes of the entire class insulting him and calling him names.
The principal got involved and he decide it was a good idea to insult her, when she took our side.
He got fired.

I didnt bring in any cans for the food drive in third grade.
My family were in a very rough point, and we didnt even have enough to feed ourselves, let alone give any away. The one teacher who was in charge of the donations in our grade was collecting from my class, when she saw I had no cans on my desk. She demanded to know why I hadn't sent anything in all month, and when i sat quietly in embarrassment (I was very shy), she began to call me an ungrateful brat in front of my whole class. The teacher kept going on and on about how there were starving kids everywhere, and that I needed to learn to be a kind and loving person.
I broke down right then and there, which set my teacher off. The next five minutes were spent angrily explaining that I didnt bring cans all month because my mother had brought in a note at the start of the month, stating that my family qualified as recipients for this very drive. The other teacher was mortified.

Had an elderly bio teacher. There had been whispers she was suffering from the beginnings of some sort of dementia.
She always dimmed the lights in class for tests and quizzes. Why? Dunno. During one test, with everyone quiet and concentrating, she suddenly blurts out “How DARE YOU?” and glares at the class clown. Thing is, class clown had been taking his test and not doing anything. He was front row so she could keep an eye on him. He asks what he did and she goes “How dare you get up mid-test to play with the light switch!”, to which the entire class replied “Huh?”.
She yelled that it was obvious the lights had been flashed and she knew he was the culprit. No matter how many of us told her he never got up and the lights never flickered, she was INSISTENT and sent the kid to the main office. It was so crazy, every kid from the class went to the principal as a unified front to make it clear class clown didn’t do anything and she had hallucinated or something.
He was let go with a ‘warning’ despite doing nothing wrong and admin musta thought it was all over but a few weeks later she freaked out on a class accusing them of moving the cup of tea she had been drinking. No one had seen her drinking tea. A teacher found the cup, empty, in the teachers lounge. She was given time off for awhile after that, then she came back and harassed a pregnant student to let her adopt her baby.

It really sucks to hear all of this,

I was 15 years old back then....it was around Jan - Feb and was having a math class and we were doing some sort of test( I don't remember that well anymore since its many years ago stuff) a classmate of mine drop his eraser so I simply picked it up for him. my teacher turn around and immediately accuse me of playing so I tried to reason with him but he shouted at me and told me to leave the classroom and never come back again until I apologizes and when i'm about to leave the door he said "I hope you fail for every of your exams" which I simply gave an okay hand sign while walking out. I was thinking to myself, dude I have no reason to apologize since I know I did nothing wrong.

This whole entire drama between me and my then math teacher got so huge that the whole school know about it since I was quite infamous in my school back then and i didn't go back to the class at all. I sat at a corner outside of the general office where I would self study. my other math teacher didn't accept me to her class as she said "I belong to the another class by that teacher who accuse me" so I had no choice. (our math class was split into two due to a massive classroom so we have 2 math teacher). I then finish my whole entire workbook even before it reach august(a huge thanks to my tuition teacher)

Things got so bad as the problem really escalated. Some of the teacher who didnt even teach me came to talk to me about this issue and worse of all was my Form teacher, She is like second mother to me at that time, which i really respected her a lot, came to talk to me about this issue, she persuaded me to apologize to him and just let this matter go and she said that the math teacher requested me to write an apology letter as well, which is decline and kept my stand where i was wrongly accused, why is everyone asking me to apologize instead? she then cried as she was really worried about me.. i did felt really bad

It was until september where my parents got involve in this and they came down to the school to talk to my Vice Principal. the math teacher lied to the VP of cursing that I would fail my exams and not allowing me back to the classroom. but as they checked the camera(which we have on almost every classroom at that time) they did not found me playing at all and the VP demanded the teacher to immediately put me back to class. i kept my grudge since then.

Until i was 16 years old(final year). i passed my exams in flying colors, i walk up to him, point middle finger at him and said "fk you" and graduated. It was the best moment ever.

I still remember the substitute teacher that was such a bully, almost the entire class literally got up and left to protest his horrible treatment of us. I was one of four who didn't leave because I didn't know where to go if I left, but I wanted to leave. With over a decade of hindsight, I should have either gone to a neighboring classroom or another teacher on the floor that I was familiar with and asked for help.

Among the things he did, a student got up to throw something in the trash (I don't remember exactly what it was because it's been 14 years, but I do remember it was something gross you don't want to be holding onto, like a used tissue or moldy food he found in his backpack or something). The sub blocked his path and ordered him to put it away. He argued with him that it was garbage and he was trying to throw it away. Sub wouldn't let him and literally was just screaming at him to put it away. This went on for fifteen minutes.

He screamed at a girl for having a coughing fit. Literally screamed at her. This girl had really bad allergies and the school was dusty because they had just demolished one of the other wings and started rebuilding it. Also she was a popular kid, so a lot of people had issue with this.

He did other things, but those are just the two I remember distinctly. Eventually when the class had enough and all left, he wrote down my name and the other three girls who didn't leave because we all were too timid to know what to do in this situation and told the teacher we were the only good kids in the class.

The next day the teacher literally shouted, "What the fuck happened?" when we got to class, because I think she was in shock. Luckily she was one of the cool teachers, so much so even the class clowns didn't bother her and no one really was all that disruptive in her classes, so she actually listened to us and got our side of the story before making any judgements or punishing us. Never saw that sub again. Hope he got fired.

Didn’t happen to me but a friend who is a mute (the most he can do is a grunt) due to under developed vocal cords.

This was before advanced smart phone or easy to get text to speech devices so a classmate or the teacher would read his answer. He had a sub who thought he was faking and for a week to get him to speak and basically bullied him. Ended when my friend’s dad stormed in and punched the sub in the face and informed him “politely” that his son was a mute.

Substitute lost their teaching license and fired friend’s dad got a fine and community service for the punch.

My American History class was taught by a typical power tripping Boomer. Her favorite thing to say was "The bell doesn't dismiss you, I do." She frequently made kids late to their next class. Eventually the head principal came down and pulled her outside. We got to watch her get reprimanded like a child.

The entire year I was in her class, she never answered a single question. She'd start like she was going to answer, but every time without fail, she'd get distracted and start ranting about how spoiled my generation was and how everything was harder when she was a kid.

Her name was Ms.Hunt. Not "Mrs" Hunt for obvious reasons. Kids frequently vandalized the nameplate on her door to say "Ms Kunt".

When I was 5, my mom went to a parents evening with my teacher. He started talking about how he wanted me to join something called “cozy club” (it was for kids with special needs)
He then goes to say how I should join because I cry a lot, he specifically said that “she cries at the drop of a feather”.

The example he gave was when I drew a picture of him. Instead of him saying “great job” or “thank-you”, he goes to say how I could of done better; that obviously made me very sad as he basically said that my drawing wasn’t good enough, and then I started crying.

My mum got very furious at him and told him that any kid in that situation would be sad about that. After parents evening, he still put me in cozy club, which would consequently lead into a kid biting me on the arm. I still hate him till this day.

There was this girl who was really nice. Everyone loved her and she always made sure everyone was okay and would bring brownies on someone’s birthday. (This is important) One day, we had a sub. It was one of the classmates birthday’s. It was a very quiet kid who didn’t really talk to people. She walked up to him and gave him his birthday brownie. He was grateful and we all quieted down when the sub entered. The sub saw the brownie and asked if the kid would share with the class. The girl explained it was for his birthday and he told her to shut up. She sat down and the kid put his brownie away. Sub asked where he got it and he said from the girl. Sub started screaming at the girl for not bringing something for everyone and that other kids would feel left out. The thing is, the girl has this PTSD thing with loud noises and yelling. She started to have an anxiety attack and the sub would not stop yelling. Birthday boy went up to the sub and tapped him on the shoulder. Birthday boy started going off on him about disrespect and how he was acting like a fool and that nobody cared about the damn brownie. As this was happening the rest of the class went to the poor girl to try and comfort her. Birthday boy, who was her boyfriend btw, stopped lecturing the sub to grab his girlfriend and hug her until she was okay. She apologized and our class was absolutely wild the rest of the period and the sub didn’t say a peep.
TLDR: sweet girl gave a kid a birthday brownie, was yelled at by a sub, and the whole class had her back.

My teacher laughed and did nothing when someone in my class got bullied. The girl tried to take her own life and the teacher said: ‘Well.. good for her, attention.’
The teacher got fired, the bullies got* expelled and the girl is in college and she’s doing okay.

The teacher took my jacket away. I used to wear this brown leather jacket everywhere, even when it was a bit warm for it. I loved the map of the world inside. The other kids protested the teacher for taking it from me. The teacher gave in to our little demands, and I received my jacket back. And why was I so important then? Because I had this business going. Special ed didn't keep track of me, and I would go to it to receive, "help." I went to the park, and a playground, and as far as my business goes, I was able to secure candy and soda for those with the means to motivate me. I was an out-of-control elementary kid. It took the teachers two years to figure this out.

I shared an art class with this one girl who has diabeties, one day her blood sugar was very low and her meter started beeping, but because our teacher was kinda mean and thought it was a phone she was too scared to tell her
Eventually she caved and said it was her meter but the teacher didn't fully believe her so when she was sent to the nurse teacher had me follow her to "make sure she got there" (aka make sure she's not just leaving to be on her phone)

Anyway 6 years later she's my girlfirend and that's how we first met so thanks non trusting art teacher 👍

Got our entire foods class in trouble because she suspected that ONE OF US ate a cookie off her counter. We had to stay in the class ONE HOUR past the bell doing a boring workbook and fill out a six page long work sheet about how to clean your kitchen after using it.

The kid she suspected the most was a known slack-off who didn’t really contribute much to the groups he was put in. In fact, he never wanted to be put in the foods class in the first place, and spent most of his class time absent because he would sneak out and vape in the bathrooms.

Guess what his alibi was? His absence. He was vaping in the bathrooms for most of the class time. What a shocker.🤦

Anyways most of that class time we could’ve been cooking was us groaning loudly and begging for the person who ate the cookie to just fess up already. All the while our teacher is sat leaned back, feet on the desk with a devilish, shit-eating smirk on her face.

Wanna know the best part? YOU WANNA???? She was the one who GAVE the fucking cookie to the SEWING TEACHER RIGHT BESIDE OUR CLASS and just FORGOT.

All that useless work for nothing and we never even got a “sorry” out of her. Just a “whoopsie daisys! I just wasted your entire lunch break!! Now you’ll go home *starving* because of a foods class! How ironic!! Tehe~” 🤪

Bonus? Me and my friend where her favourite students. Safe to say those feelings were definitely unrequited after that one.

FUCK YOU MRS.GADMER. *FUCK.YOU.*

We used to have this German teacher, an elderly woman. She was extremely strict and used to rant about our spoiled generation and how bad it is here in Russia (she's russian too) and how great Germany is. The whole class thought she was an old hag and we all were joking around about her, copying her phrases and stuff.
Once we were reading something out loud and when it was my turn, I read very quietly and weakly because I was on my period and I had bad cramps. And she asked me (not really politely) why I read "like a dying swan" and when I said that I feel bad she said "As if I don't!".

Also I used to go to a theatre club outside my school and we had to make impressions of someone. And I made an impression of that teacher and everyone loved it!

My teacher took a Muffin from me and threw it away, I immediately stood up and screamed "MY FUCKING MUFFIN!!! I was eating that you bitch." Being the quiet kid in class that hit everyone pretty damn hard 🤣

one of my best friends in school is visually impaired (dude's very close to being blind) so our school obviously provided some help for him to be able to do his work like magnifying worksheets etc, he was allowed to use his phone to take photos and zoom for them, and always sat at the front in every class so he could have as good a view of the board as possible or look directly at the teachers monitor.
he was genuinely loved by every teacher in his vicinity at any moment in time except for this one time we had a sub teacher for english who refused to believe he was blind, she wouldnt let him have a magnified sheet, moved him away from her seat at the front so he couldnt see the board, he couldnt get his phone out, after the whole class was practically shouting at her saying "miss he's blind he needs that" she got so angry with everyone and he said he couldnt read the page so she just told him to 'try'. honestly the most willfully ignorant woman i have ever met in my life we were all in shock. when our actual teacher came back and heard about the events he was furious and also shocked,

In primary school, our newest PE teacher, who was supposed to substitute for our much younger previous teacher when he went for his Master's Degree, called one of our classmates, who has a special case, a crybaby and yelled at him for crying after that. He also scolded me as I hated loud noises at the time for sobbing quietly in the corner of the classrooms. Our bravest classmates yelled at him for making two students cry and suggested he seek medical help for traumatizing a bunch of 11-year-olds. A few days later, he 'accidentally' threw a badminton racket at the fiercest teacher's grandson, who just so happened to be our friend. That was a big mistake and numerous pupils' parents lodged complaints and within a week, he was fired.

One thing that riles me up is that every single other subject teacher in our class defended him except for our art teacher. They would say that he deserves respect from us and that we were ungrateful for his help. How is he even helping us if he can't even teach left-handed me how to hold a bat the left-handed way which caused the ball to fling in the opposite direction because people like me 'do not have an excuse to complain if I cannot hold the bat the right way'?
