I can't believe the state of the American workforce where "quiet quitting" just means the work you were hired to do

It's not called quiet quitting, it's called doing your job.

They never offer you overtime if you start out saying "no".

I love your videos they are on point. Big corporations want you to multitask and work for 2 or 3. They say learn everything you can but the same salary and don't notice that we work so hard and more than other but recieved the same salary increase. How?? No idea, don't they see how hard we work and thanks to that the place can run smooth and productive. So tired of filling their pockets but not mine.

just don't do this in a customer facing role, a good example is if you have sale that gets you 5k in commission, and if you don't respond to an after hours call and the issue was something that you could fix and they cancel, well you lost 5k in commission now

Please stop using this fake term. It’s called gaslighting employees.

And that's why you'll stay in the same job or bounce to another identical type of job. I agree with working within your hours but only doing the "minimum"? Let me know in 10 or 20 years how that works out for you.

Hey, whatever happened to just leaving when you’re not happy at your job?

Wait, , , but that’s not the point, the point is you can use this as as excuse so you can work below your potential instead of admitting you just don’t want to work and still get paid. smart.

Yeah, quiet quitting? more appropriately is quiet sitting and twiddle your fingers while everyone else around you are loudly advancing on their careers and goals in life.

Jesus no wonder everyone is hiring because they have to interview people like this, like Jesus you wonder why no promotion or raise, Jesus you don't put in the effort for it, if you quiet quit, you will always remain in the position you're in forever, the "other" person in the dialogue is right, you won't get anything but bare minimum pay, and as I said will stay in position you're in forever and never grow, like Jesus working hard and effort is number one, when shown effort to management, and just be a good employee, in due time could be manager, managers manager, or one of the C** jobs, always put in effort, it will pay off always, maybe be the long run, but will be rewarded, just like the CEO of Walmart started off as cashier, 20 years later making hundreds of millions a year, I doubt he got this by being like you in this video and "quiet quitting", always always put in 100%, people notice effort, believe me you will be thankful for it,
