I'm 62 years old and I'm on the Lose It Calorie count diet plan. My budget calories is 1560 calories... I lost 20 pounds, and my goal weight is 145-150 pounds, I weight 173 now. I'm 5'2, but large frame and walk everyday. You are awesome, and you are spot on with calories.

I’m nearly 40 had 3 kids and have been “dieting” for the past 20 years drastically restricting my calories, using appetite suppressants to keep hunger at bay and working out ridiculously hard all to try and lose weight. It has never worked for me and you have helped me to understand why through watching your videos. I’m now hoping to transform my mindset and my life with all your information. I kid you not, you were God sent..I have been eating about 1500 calories a day for the past 3 weeks or so and yeah, I dropped like 6 pounds the first week and a half, but since then I have plateaued and I was wondering why, I was starting to lose my mind, because I was exercising and burning around 800-1000 calories at the gym, eating in a calorie deficit...and now I know. My bmr is at 1615 calories so I was not giving my body enough calories.. I watched more of your videos and I realized I need to eat about 2000 calories a day (since my tdee is at around 2500) for a body recomposition. Not gonna lie, I'm scared to raise my calories, afraid not to lose all the progress I've made so far, but I'm more scared to stay at the same weight and body so I'm gonna give it a try.

Thank you for making this video! I realized the dieting app I’ve used has been set at 1, 200 calories and that’s too low for me. I’ve struggled with anorexia on and off plus chronic health problems so it took me awhile to question if I was eating enough. Will definitely make an effort to eat more now :)

I've kept my calories between 900-1300 for almost 3 year's strictly following keto and have loved it. But now I'm switching to building music and that has brought me to your channel. I have really enjoyed your videos thank you for sharing your knowledge.

This was so helpful. I’ve been eating 1200 calories a day and doing cardio and strength training everyday. I definitely haven’t been eating enough to sustain the workouts. I have been gaining muscle but not losing fat it seems. I calculated my BMR and it’s 50 calories more then I’m intaking! Definitely going to bump up my calorie intake !

I'm so glad I found this video, I recently lost 11 pounds by just eating healthier food and was starting to count my calories and was kind of like some of your clients and just picked a number I thought was I wasn't too far off from my calorie deficit, but this was very informative, and I was able to add 200 more calories to my daily intake. I plan to start working out twice a you recommend working the same areas both times, or is it better to work two different areas a day? For example legs in the morning and evening or legs in the morning and arms in the evening? Thanks!

A doctor told me to restrict my calories between 1200-1400 to lose weight. My nutritionist had previously told me to eat more than that.

I am definitely eating too low. Do I jack up my calories (significantly) and wait it out, or SLOWLY up my calories??

Hey, I’m 15 years old and I’m only eating between 500-700 a day but I feel 700 calories are a lot for me idk I’ve suffered anorexia and I still have anorexia right now- do you have any tips for a 15 year old girl with anorexia and have a height of 4’11 cuz I am also insecure about my height😓

Thank you for this video. I could compare myself to reason 2 because I’ve been craving donuts and ice cream a lot lately. And I’m going to the gym right after work roan hour and 30 minutes three times a week( Monday, Wednesday and Friday)

I eat a 1200 calorie and I'm on an all vegan protein plant base food no sugar and no dairy all protein milk intake it gets me full fast I eat protein based foods and eat carbs once a day I've lost 5 pounds in a week when I eat my carbs is when I eat anything I want as long as I'm eating one carb a day

I have two physical jobs for 12 hrs a day. in trying to lose weight an have been sticking to 1300 calories. After watching this video I'm thinking I'm eating too

I did a 1200 cal diet lost a ton of weight and gained even more back 😢.. I’m still tracking calories but it’s inching back to a recommend 1200 cals and I don’t like that! Especially now that I wanna incorporate exercise. Idk what to do. I’m not even trying to lose fast b/c I know it’s not sustainable long term. I’m ok with slow and steady because I want it to stay off! 😩

I've been working with a dietician for 3 years and recently had to go from 1500 to 1200 calories and its hard for me to eat even 1200 some days because I'm so busy and its all mediteranian diet. I am having trouble figuring out ways to vary my same daily meals.

I am 67 years old and I weigh 141. Want to lose 10 lbs My Fitness Pal gave me 60 grams protein and 150 carbs with a 1200 calorie deficit. I usually eat 1, 000 calories and have gone over my protein so I don’t eat anymore. Been on this for 2 months and lost 3 lbs. very confused

I do not lose weight if I eat more than 1200 calories.. even on 1200 calories I only lose maybe 1lb per week
