Our lymph nodes are on the surface of the skin. There is no need to push that hard or for this to be painful. It looks like you are doing a massage rather than manual lymphatic drainage.

I tried this and the headaches went away I also did this by my ear area and jaw area it gave my face a nice glow and removed face puffiness

Deep pressure massage is the only thing that gives me pain relief for tension headaches/migraines. They get so bad that my vision worsens, and I experience nausea and dizziness. Thank you for showing a technique that actually works! 💪

I have had swollen lymph nodes on right side of my neck . Specifically 2, one under my jaw and 1 on side of neck. Got all tests done, biopsy, ctscan, nothing helped. It has been a year . I tried the ketogenic diet just like that, and magically my lymph node swelling went away . When i was off keto, the swelling came back.

Confused. I though in order to drain the lymoho the pressure had to be extremely light?

Thought that the lymphatic requires gentle pressure. Doesn’t look so gentle here, but Dr knows best?

You’re doing deeper massage. This is not manual lymphatic drainage. The pressure is too much. I’m a licensed massage therapist and certified manual lymphatic drainage therapist Dr. Vodder technique.

I wish the basics of this practice were taught in schools.

That area in my neck constantly aches so I researched head and neck lymph node massage. I usually feel pain when I do self massage on my neck. But all the videos I’ve seen say that the massage should be light to the touch. Unfortunately this amount of pressure is the only way to get rid of face, neck and clavicle pain for me. I wonder if those spa, light touch massages do anything.

How are you draining the lymph node areas on the neck and the drainage on the lymph nodes

That’s way way too hard. He’s gonna be sore and bloated like a blowfish the next morning. Please be gentle especially the first few times. Because if your lymph isn’t draining then you’ll be hurting bad. Best to do tappoment and do this to yourself at first. You know what you can and cannot handle. Drink LOTS of water too. Or you’ll regret it. I was very sedentary while I was in chemo. As adults we don’t rebound or bounce or run often. Once you do it’s painful.

I thought lymph is a very delicate structure and should be handled gently. This seems like an excessive procedure causing the lymph node collapse.

Wow! Felt relief within seconds. Also find that doing this regularly improves concentration. Is there a cure for this condition? Thanks Doc!
