My first friend in my school life had an elder brother. Her mother escaped with another man when she was in 3rd grade, she had to cook, wash dishes and her brother uses to beat her brutally, she was struggling w her studies and our sections got separated, i couldn't support her either, she suffered in silence. In 6th grade, she used to show her bruises and that really scared the shi out of us. I even told her to complain to the PS but she told what will happen to her if her dad and brother get arrested.
