I hate when I can feel my heart beating. It amps up my anxiety even further. I also get extreme sweating when I'm super anxious.
It's so embarrassing which feeds the anxiety more and makes it worse. Then goes away just as quick as it came.

My main anxiety symptom that affects my body is gut 💩 issues. My stomach is in knots, just overall digestive issues. I also have a lot of the other symptoms, ugh anxiety sucks. People just don’t know that it’s not ALL just in your head, and it’s a daily struggle. 😩

Ladies and gentlemen, I am a doctor myself and also a patient of anxiety. Think about it, I know all the symptoms and all the associated diseases so whenever I am anxious, I relate one disease with it and slowly every symptom develops in me. Then I go for checking it through tests and it comes negative. Its also hard for me as a Doctor then I can only imagine how is it for you. Just accept it you are not alone. We all will be good ❤️

Currently experiencing all these physical symptoms, just had a major panic attack 4 days ago and these symptoms haven’t ceased. It’s truly terrifying and it’s feel so uncontrollable because there’s no reason for me to be anxious. This constant feeling of pressure on my chest and the sensation of not being able to breath are causing heart palpitations. This video and the comments gives me some comfort that I’m not alone. Tomorrow I’m seeing a psychiatrist that will hopefully be able to help me through this. As of right now I’m on an ER prescribed medication that just makes me drowsy and sleepy but helps to get me through the day. I’m 24 years old, I have school and a job and it feels like this anxiety is making my life and daily routine impossible.

My anxiety has caused me so many issues. It’s gotten to the point that my anxiety makes it impossible for anyone to take any health concerns serious because everything is blamed on my anxiety. It’s like someone stamped it in my medical records and it’s the first and only thing the doctors see. Living in a small town with one clinic and one hospital 20 miles away, you see the same doctors and nurses. It’s hard to get help when your anxiety is all they see.

The heart and the mind. Always partners in useless bodily, unwanted and annoying sensations. Dont worry my friend, these too shall pass. You will not die. You are stronger than the most common people. God bless.

The truly worst part of it is when you get those symptoms and then get anxious because of them, leading to more anxiety which leads to more/stronger symptoms and so on and so forth
Especially if you are already sick with something else, and then the other symptoms kick in as well with no tie between the two
It can be the WORST sometimes

That was terrifying when I had my first panic attack. It started in my throat was tightening, my breathing was difficult and I thought I was going to die. My parents were about to rush me to the hospital but I had just enough awareness to tell them to take me to the fire station a few blocks down the street. When they sat me in the chair to evaluate me, they asked me what was I experiencing as tears rolled down my face, I started to hyperventilate and kept saying "I CAN'T BREATHE"!!! The more I hyperventilate, the more my breathing was labored and I could barely swallow and felt like I was going in circles with my symptoms. The paramedic gave me oxygen, talked calmly and told me to breathe slowly and gave me my rhythm to inhale slowly and exhale slowly. On the way to the hospital they gave me Benadryl. My mom was in the ambulance with me and my dad was in our car right behind the ambulance. I'm sure he committed various driving infractions but he didn't care. Thank God he didn't get any tickets.

I noticed this was anxiety after thinking for years there was something wrong with my body as I have health anxiety. And even when you feel fine.. a second later it hits you. But all the worry and stress of days before can effect you days after

This is how i get anxiety. It's all physical. I've had so many people be like "why don't you journal what you're anxious about"and I'm like, I'm not having anxious thoughts, I'm just made of anxiety!

For women, perimenopause and menopause can also trigger anxiwty, breathing struggles (‘air hunger’) and heart symptoms (palpitations).

anxiety is horrific, I have had really severe panic/anxiety to the point where I’ve fainted, it’s like the panic and feeling extremely overwhelmed just shut my body down because the feelings and symptoms were too much to handle

I used to get this “wind in my ears” you ever get so nervous it’s like a a gust of wind comes right up the inside and outside of you all the way up and out your head arms legs? The wind in your ears until it stops? It’s like an adrenaline rush but it there is nothing to be adrenaline rush’n about.
