Let’s redefine compassion…

Because growing up, we tend to learn that compassion means tolerating any and every type of behavior.

But it’s our belief that…

You can be kind, and stand up for yourself.
You can be caring, even when saying no.
You can be loving, despite needing distance.

Because when we believe that compassion means always putting our needs behind others, we learn to love and remain far too close to the people that hurt us the most.
