Yoga Nidra for Self Love and Acceptance | 30 Minute Non Sleep Deep Rest to Nurture the Heart with Soothing Koshi Chimes

This 30 minute self love yoga nidra is a calming guided meditation practice for deep relaxation, healing, and regeneration. Imagine your most nourishing power nap. This yoga nidra is healing for the heart chakra and assists in guiding you to restore a deep sense of self love by taking care of yourself first. By creating space and devoting time to self care practices like this, you can think of it like charging your internal battery or rebooting your internal computer. Remember, we cannot pour from an empty cup. All of the love we give outward into relationships and to those whom we love deeply, this practice helps to redirect some of that love and energy to take care of some of the more tender parts of yourself that require a little bit more loving attention.

Yoga Nidra is an effortless form of guided meditation where techniques are used to bring you into a deep state of relaxation or a light altered state of consciousness sometimes known as 'conscious sleep' or 'wakeful sleep'. This technique helps with insomnia, anxiety, stress, adrenal fatigue, PTSD and so much more.

Yoga nidra carries you into the deeper brainwave states or states of consciousness we experience when we naturally go to sleep at night, however we maintain a sense of awareness. This is a beginner friendly and all levels form of meditation. Simply just relax back and be guided into a deep state of relaxation.

There is no "wrong" way to practice yoga nidra. Simply just listen to your body. The intention here is to find your most comfortable position where you can rest deeply. Ensuring the body feels fully supported, comfortable, and warm. The less distractions you have, the more deeply you can relax into a meditative state. From there, close down the eyes and just relax back and listen as Kristyn Rose guides you into a peaceful and calm state where you can heal and regenerate. If you need to come out at any time, you can wiggle your fingers, deepen into the breath, or even sit up. Listen to your body. Your body knows what to do.

Take a few moments to settle in and get comfortable. Then we will begin a rotation of consciousness throughout the physical body. Connecting to the Self and letting go of the thinking mind by cultivating body and breath awareness. Notice what it feels like for the breath to breathe the body, what a gift. Expressing gratitude for the breath and this body, that houses our spirit. Begin to visualize a beautiful rose quartz crystal - all of its edges, natural imperfections, organic beauty. Gaze at it with awe, wonder, and love. Then redirect all of that energy towards yourself. For all of your natural edges, curves, organic beauty. For all of the parts of you that make you, you. For there is only one of you, and to me, that's pretty special.

Rest as loving awareness for a moment. Let it sink in. Then recall your Sankulpa to plant it like a seed in the subconscious mind. Slowly start to awaken. Carry this loving awareness with you throughout the rest of your day or week.

I hope you emerge feeling rested, rejuvenated, loved, and loving. Know that you can come back to this practice anytime, and anywhere.

Would love a longer yoga nidra on acceptance and surrender. In my healing and recovery from chronic stress and fatigue, it can be so difficult to accept bumps on the road, let go of resistance and surrender. Yet this is so incredibly important. I truly LOVE all your longer nidra videos, and would be so grateful for one on this topic.
