It would have been interesting to see Ace become the flame emperor instead of Sabo. One way or another, Ace would have also returned to Wano to recruit Tama.

My heart would melt seeing the three brothers reunite 😭

You could write marineford in many ways that let whitebeard die, bb getting his fruit, sabo gaining his memory, and the straw hats to train. Ace just gets very injured, more than Luffy as Rayleigh says Luffy that "you were lucky for ace, but you will not be for your crew. And I'll teach you" Sabo gets his memory back from seeing that Ace escapes execution, or the two encounter each other and the reunion happens. Ace goes his own way since pops dies, as he wants to become pirate king for him. Ace awakens his fruit to help Luffy in dressrosa, sabo gets a different powerful fruit(idk which, The Spade pirates are remade as deuce joins ace again, and at laugh tale the three brothers truly unite. Ace the sword was on laugh tale, as a gift for ace, Luffy becomes king of the pirates and Ace gets together with Yamato the end

I could also see Ace reviving the Spade pirates with Masked Deuce being his first mate.

I think Dadan would have been a more ideal sacrifice to push Luffy to get stronger.
Imagine if Sabo showed up to Marineford, Ace escaped, & the reunited brothers went back to their home village to visit dadan.
Maybe Akainu follows them back to finish them off then Dadan jumps in between them & her sacrifice inspires Luffy, Ace & Sabo to train under Rayleigh.

1: luffy trains regarless of aces death cause he already got washed in sabody and marinefort, ace is likelly to also train under rayleigh or shanks for the matter (which if he would do so he would come out with RYUO minimum as he already knew all 3 basic haki aplications)
2: payback war likelly does not happen as the WB pirates would wait for ace to train and recognize him as the captain.
3: aces bounty would be alot higher than 1 bill he would be in the 2 bil Bellow BB, this is because coming out of the time skip as ROGERS SON and the captain of the WB pirates or spade pirates having under him WB fleet and comanders he would be recognized as the 5TH yonko simular to luffy after whole cake.
4: BB would be recognized as the official 4th yonko but would have to constantly have small scale battles with aces crew over teritory (full scale battle wont happen because of the 4 way dead lock explained in the ace novel which BB would understand the consequences off more than ace and shanks is likelly to be the one nagging at ace to not go after BB or having to interfere constantly).
5: wano happens only this time its a wash as both ace/luffy would come out of wano with awekening and COC. both named offical emperors with cross guild either having the inferior 5th yonko position/or official making 5 emperors.
6: weevil does not pick on the wb pirate fleet cause they are not separated and are united and theres also a chance ace befriens him and he joins as he wants to fight BB, jimbei/yamato also join ace.
7: BB would have to be masivelly upscalled (he gets a third zoan fruit and awekenes his other 2 fruits as well as his zoan fruit if he acually had one from the start, he also is offically revealed to have COC) this is how he destroys shanks in a fight forcing both Ace/luffy to team up and beat him. cross guild would arguably be stopped by zoro/sanji and the straw hat fleet while most of the wb pirates who have a score to settle will be the ones fighting BB crew.
8: kid/law meet the same fate as the normal story, sabo ends up with a top tier paramicia fruit to making a theme of every brother having a fruit from each class or ends up with kaidos dragon fruit if he is dead further developing his ryuosoken.
9: luffy met with shanks prior to his demise and returne the hat only to get it back in the fight with BB.
10: luffy becomes the PK as ace had no interest in the OP to begin with he just want to surpass roger (which he does in this time line), protect his familly and fight people against freedom.
11: the brothers unite in the final war against imu and in the end luffy/ace have one final fight as they promised to meet again at the top (this could also happen after the BB fight)

It's fun to speculate what would have happened if certain major events had gone differently. Ace surviving is a pretty big one to consider, and I'm certain it has been debated and speculated many times how Jimbei, Tama, and Yamato's relationships with Luffy would change slightly if Ace had been alive.

Part of me thinks that Ace would likely stay away and do his things for a while up until he needed to train for the time skip, as for Jinbe i think Ace would say "Its up to you, old friend. Regardless of what you pick, we'll support you regardless. Straw hat or Spade you're still our endeared friend "

Honestly this make me soo sad. He's such an amazing character. Arcs with him could be soo cool. And him being at Wano would be even cooler. I don't think that he would fight big mom or king or queen because he had his own score with Kaido. He broke his statue and declare that he would come back and Kaido was very angry. Ace will definitely go straight to Kaido. And he would be stronger like Luffy because he's already was extremely strong and talented add to this training by I believe Shanks and he would waay stronger than Luffy. He would be called flame emperor after whether wci or after marineford because bb became yonko only to replace wb but Ace is WB's " replacement" it was mentioned a lot of times.
