I think what I really love about Logias is how overpowered they are in the first half of the Grandline. I love the fact that you need Haki to counter them but what I always found so fascinating is how Oda enabled "hard counters" to work as well against them like how you mentioned Liquid against Crocodile. This made the fight against Crocodile and Enel just so entertaining to me^^

If Luffy ate another fruit it would not blow him up cause of his rubber like nature. He would just be temporarily inflated cause cuz of the explosion and go back to normal, allowing the two devils co-exist in Luffys rubber body.

The thing about luffy is that he thinks outside the box compare to most users, so if he had other devil fruit powers he could would have expanded it beyond its usual capabilities.

Luffy's battle IQ is so high up that he can legit unlock gear 5 in whatever devil fruit he can get.

Ice is definitely the most useful and fitting one for Luffy. He could make ice barriers or trap Smoker with heavily layered ice, and then escape. But Ace in Alabasta would go up against Smoker with Gomu Gomu. I’m wondering how that’ll go. Also, Light could not Absorb Lightning. Enel would have to destroy Luffy, unless he realized his attacks don’t work on him, and escape with the ice fruit but also Katakuri would defeat Luffy because snakeman is probably the only one could defeat him as his future sight is unlimited. Also, if Luffy with the ice fruit, the rarest logia, he cracks down and forms again due to him being ice. Blackbeard would most likely beat luffy again. If Luffy fought Akainu with the ice fruit, he might just get a better chance of escaping. Aokiji only lost to plot, and " getting a little wild " Ice is a natural enemy to magma, and magma slides off ice and evaporates into gas and cools down. So I think, if One Piece’s devil fruits would make sense, Luffy might’ve escaped Akainu with Ace successfully. BUT- again, if that’s true, which is probably not because Oda wants Akainu to be the strongest marine for Luffys final fight, Light Fruit could make nuclear reactions with its light beams. This is why devil fruits are a little confusing. If it was realistic, Kizaru would easily be in Kongs position, and Aokiji would be in Akainus.

If I remember correctly, in the fight between jinbei and who's who, he used haki on his body and emphasized "iron body" which was a part of the six powers, implying that it was possible due to the usage of armament haki, and we all know that most if not all the cp9 agents at that time have mastered the six powers, it's safe to assume that they at least knew how to use haki before the time skip, though idk if they can actually utilize it as an offensive skill since iron body is a defensive skill

I'd love to see an analysis of the max power of fruits that have a lot of potential, but the users don't have the drive to get them to that level of power. The few that come to mind for me are Buggy, Foxy, Caribou, and Pica.

It literally got confirmed recently, that at least parts of the rokushiki is actually haki, so yeah, cp9 deffo know some haki

I think Luffy would use the gravity fruit power similar to Shiki from Eden Zero. Using gravity to lighten his body and and increase the force of his attacks.

awesome stuff! only one note, greenbull was easily spawning entire forests in the arid desert of Udon, while being starved, so i dont think a croc fight vs forest fruit would be so easily decided
