Dr Youn, Id love for you to talk more about Keloids and hypertrophic scars!! In what body modifications and plastic surgeries they could be likely to occur and what not.
Throughout my life, Ive thought about getting cheek piercings, tattoos and a boob job. But what has always held me back is my genetic tendency of hypertrophic scars. No one professional that ive asked could give me advice regarding those in correlation w piercings, tattoos and plastic surgery

I think it looks great on her, the surgeon did amazing. Wish I can see the before though. Sometimes the scar is worth it for people. Just like tummy tucks.

Why?! Genuinely..? I can almost understand certain procedures, but I’m genuinely baffled by this one?!
I’ve had 2 sinus operations & I had to remove some stitches just inside my nose (where they’d been finished off post surgery & hadn’t fully dissolved due to the knot at the end) - I’m not sure I’ve ever felt a more uncomfortable sensation! This took me right back to that. Eek.

Dang, like I knew this procedure scars younger skin pretty bad but this really shows off how dramatic the scaring is on young skin. I have been doing scar repair for years and I have no idea how she will ease this intense of scarring.

I love it that u back up your statements with actual concerns that some doctors would overlook bcs “oh only a small percentage of people get that”. I was a small percentage and got adverse effects from wrongs meds for years. Thank you doctor 💕

the scarring is very prominent after this procedure and I also see a lot of reduced muscle tone of the area between the upper lip and nose so people talk weird and so it is very obvious that you had work done.

I’ve had a lip lift along with a scar revision 3 months after, and now that I’m a couple years out I can say that the scar is still visible and semi noticeable even when I wear makeup. I still am really happy with the overall results though🤷🏼‍♀️
